I've been mewing for close to a year (have been a mouth breather most of my life due to alergies) and I have noticed recently my chin has grown forwards. I used to have a round shaped chin and now its starting to have a concave shape (which is common in my family) and I can't help but think this is a consecuence of pulling the tounge to the roof, chewing correctly, fixing my posture, etc.

underuse of teeth probably? In modern times our food is so easy to chew we could do the job probably with only few teeths left. Thats not how the teeth were designed. We have lots of chewing teeth because we needed them to get all the nutrients out of the fiberouse food we used to eat in ancient times. I would theorise if you let a kid chew at least 1-2 hours a day the teeth would not be crooked.

Thank you so much for replying and taking me back there, now to the answer! I think it is a lack of mewing + my household was poor growing up and my mother mostly cooked soft foods. I unfortunately see this pattern elsewhere, you can kind of see if a person grew up well or not... definitely I didn't. If only they were extremely frugal and at least got me the most basic appliances, maybe I would have been slightly better. For people mewing rigorously, what are some signs and symptoms of forward growth? It's hard to judge your own face directly (even with good pictures). Like you always say, thinking about one's face and its beauty is emotive. So it could be easy to see what's NOT there and NOT see what's there. What are some secondary signs of good forward growth then? You have mentioned before that on your nurses (who absorbed what you said and started mewing themselves) you noticed redness on their skin above the zygomatic arch? What other signs? Better breathing? Do a video on this!!

People actually tell me that I "look different." People I went to school with, and see me now will say this. That, and sometimes, when i'm doing it, i'll feel pressure in my face. Usually under the cheeks, around the nose area, some of my teeth and sometimes even my forehead, and eye area, from the "mewing."

My teeth are crooked and as they grew bigger, my jaw started to lean on the right side of my face and it just makes me look weird especially when i smile. I think it has affected my lips too because the shape has become different. Will mewing be able to solve this? Also my teeth are really crooked and its bothering to know that it is very noticeable on my two front teeth. Im still undecided on whether or not I should keep mewing or just get braces instead. My parents has already planned on getting me braces and i also have no choice of getting orthotropic treatment in my country because I dont think they exist here.

Research ways to naturally boost human growth hormone - including intermittent fasting being key and getting enough sleep and sleeping in a fully darkened room or wearing an eye-cupped eye mask in sleep.. If you look at those with acromegaly (they have pathological levels of HGH) - they have big chins..Too much HGH can create it's own problems (carpal tunnel syndrome etc) but intermittent fasting might boosts your HGH to non-pathological levels that might help your chin/jaw growth alongside mewing, God willing..

I used to chew tough gum for at least 10 hours a day for over a year. And I can definitely tell you that chewing makes muscles stronger and gives a bit of jawline. Nothing else, no expansion of palate or forward growth. I am kind of semi mewing without even knowing about mewing for a few months and around 3-4 months into mewing, I can definitely say this thing works. several things that I noticed- I can see and feel my Adam's apple, my breath doesn't smell bad anymore, nice jawline even with 21% body fat, my voice used to be weirdly deeper but now that weird part is deleted, it is only deep right now funfact-I am using chewing gum for tongue chewing and it increased my palate size up to some extent.
