Humans are animals too. and we being primates are closely related to them if I'm not mistaken. I don't know a lot about animals but primates just seem the most dangerous and sadistic to me. I'd rather encounter big cats in the wild than a bunch of primates.

@danielscissorhands I Googled it just now.....According to two articles I read, both articles said that the raccoon was okay & made it's escape from the chimps' enclosure. (The 2 articles were on WTOL (news station out of Toledo, Ohio) and ABC30 (news station out of Fresno, California.)) It happened in Oct 2012, at the zoo in St. Louis, Missouri.

I mean, pretty sure it died. So yeah. Imminent mortal danger. They still had a hold of it so good chance they ripped it to pieces and possibly ate it. Even *IF* it got away, it's probably going to die as a result getting tossed like a rag doll. That impact broke some bones for sure. Ruptured organs, probably. Honestly impressed it managed to get up and make a break for it, it looked hurt and dazed. Adrenaline is a hell of a drug I guess.

We did more in a year for civilisation than any of these little buggers did in 100,000 years. We show mercy and benevolence to these critters, but if any of them tries something against us, we vote them out of their ecosystem.
