Who new Africa will have their own mouthpiece after it was ravaged by colonialism? Chimamanda Ngozi Adiche is one of the best African voices, rewriting our history, telling our human stories and changing how Africa was lebelled by those who has the power to tell our stories negatively.

Her beauty is unquestionable but her depths of analysis and complex reasoning is what intrigues me and what will eventually leave the most lasting legacy in our world. I am proud to have experienced her, and share in her quest to help us minimize our need to create stories and stereotypes to understand people and situations, but to carefully realize that we are never getting the full story of a person, people or situation all the time. Her writing compels us to look deeper...and accept

Her words do reflect a kind of 'Silent Truth', speaking volumes. I'm surpised to see how especially in the 'commonwealth' people of that common history as my Namibian self relate to her 'nigerian story'. Its a bit more an 'Africa story...' Really I see it as a 'Human Story' The necessary half of a long spoken story
