I'm 28, married with one kid and just listening to the first 25 minutes of this takes me back to my childhood when i had no resposabilities or a f*cking job. Im almost crying now. Pokemon was my childhood and my savior. This makes me rethink my life choices and overwhelmes me with nostalgia.

same here man. exactly the same here. that's why i grew balls and decided to start my own company. screw my boss who thinks he's better. I don't wanna feel the need to justify when i feel sick. Screw them all man, do your own thing and never give up.

I remember back when my big brother was still at home. We did not have GBA, GBC, or anything like that but instead, a 128MB-RAM computer. He downloaded the GBA emulator and bought a CD in which they had already copied GBA games (including Pokemon). Pokemon Ruby/Sapphire was the first gen he played. Because we only had one computer and I'm still too little, I remember that I always sat by and watched him finish the game multiple times - to the point that these songs have engraved deeply into my mind. He had to live far from home 4 years later, and it remains the same after all these years. He got married last week. He has always been so pure and innocent. The moment he and his wife stepped on the wedding podium, these songs popped up in my mind and I really wanted to cry. I hope he can remain the same despite the pressure of reality.

I remember my childhood best friend's mom Kristy bought me Pokemon Emerald for my birthday. I still remember how elated I was to this day (I'm 30 now) and appreciated her so much. She was fighting a terrible cancer and unfortunately lost. But despite this, she always made her kids a priority and took care of what she needed to. She was so kind and giving, always thinking of others. Rest in peace Kristy. You are a beautiful soul. My mom and I still talk about you.

Gen 3 is definitively my favorite Gen of all. The nostalgia of playing pokemon Sapphire. Having Munch the little Mudkip as my partner pokemon. Exploring the Hoenn region, from our Littleroot Town to Victory Road, stopping by at my favorite routes and towns such as Route 113 with its Spinda which had no spots on my save of the game, Fourtree city with its secret base decoration shop. Just appreciating the bicycle theme while hatching eggs in the Verdanturf-Mauville cycle and the surf theme just because it's relaxing. I wish I could experience this excitement I felt when I first played it each playthrough.

I will forever be a Pokemon Sapphire kid at heart. It truly opened my eyes to the incredible world of video games and I haven't been able to put them down since. Ive mostly grown out of my love for Pokemon and spend more time playing Rocket League, but I still dream about someday going back and getting a GameBoy and a Sapphire cartridge and losing myself in the game for a day or two.

@@RLNero Do it! Revisiting the games even these days is a great experience. If you have a 3DS you can just install custom firmware and play them that way, that’s what I did for emerald.

Nostalgia these days just makes me sad that, hot take incoming, pokemon games are just not as great as they used to be to me. B2W2 was just the peak of pokemon story telling and fun gameplay and challenging.

I don't know why but my favorite pokemon are the older gens (especially gen 4)

Im turning 18 this year and the first music has already hit me in the feels man. It was so simpler back then, no stress or worry. These musics brings me back to those simpler times where my only worry was to leveling up my pokemon and no worries for the future. But hey, it's part of life and i hope everyone will have a great 2023

Your turning 18 now lol how can you feel nostalgic for this game? That would make you like -11 year old when it came out. I’m 28 now and the game was released when I was in 3rd grade.

Remember guys, whatever they take from us, they can never take away the memories we've made no matter what far away or virtual a place we may have made them. The memories are real. Never let them have it.

Sólo recuerdo la vez que luego de pasar la liga nos aparecio Latias en la ruta 119, la felicidad de mi hermano y yo cuando pudimos atrapar nuestro primer pokemon legendario, caen lagrimas. I have 24 years old and nobody can imagine what the first 25 minutes means to me. Every single soundtrack behind the scenaries of the game, bring me back a little piece of my childhood. Pokemon R,Z,E. The hole history of this game full up my chillhood, something totally ridiculous, like i said before, no one at this age can understood. Hand up if you understeand what i mean. I just remember when after pass the league, Latias Show up in the 119 rout, the happines of my bro and me when for the firt time caught a legendarios pokemon.... my tears come out.

De hecho amigo, yo te entiendo al pie de la letra, Pokemon Esmeralda fue mi primero de la franquicia, en una Gameboy Advance, era el único juego que tenia y me pasaba horas jugándolo, Amé y amo cada centímetro de ese juego. Hoy en día siempre trato de volver a jugarlo y recordar lo feliz que era.

Rustboro City theme was always such a vibe. I remember just running around the town endlessly while enjoying this theme.

After the original, Gen 3 was my favourite as kid. I played so much Ruby and Sapphire.. The nostalgia is real with this music.

Pallet town always makes me feel such nostalgia that I start to tear up. I just become 8 again with my very first game boy and my very first pokémon game.

Wow I almost got emotional listening to this playlist. So many hours put into Ruby and Sapphire. Pokemon does it right with their music.

I’ve never had a smile on my face so quick than I did when I pressed play. This music takes me back. Reminds me of innocent old days. I love this game and grateful for all the beautiful memories it has given me.

Littleroot Town feel so nostalgic, when i hear it i fell im gonna cry

DPP has some of the most relaxing themes in the whole Pokémon saga. Surprised Eterna forest theme was not featured in this video.

I remember back in 2005 i was 11 years old and my mom bought me Pokemon Emerald and i played the heck out of that game. Im 28 now and im tearing up a bit listening to this because life was easy and simple back then. I think i might go buy a used gameboy advance sp and pokemon emerald game and start playing it again just so i can somewhat feel like a kid again.
