According to The Kenya Violence Against Children Survey 2019, In Kenya about half of the children have witnessed violence in the home before the age of 18. Witnessing violence at home is a form of child abuse. Children who witness violence suffer emotional, psychological, and sometimes physical abuse at home. Children who witness violence between their parents and another parent or boyfriend/ girlfriend are likely to become victims or abusers in teenage/ adulthood.
