Children's choir leads new PM and cabinet in singing of 'O Canada'
Just seconds after his last cabinet minister was sworn in, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and company were led by a children's choir for the singing of 'O Canada'.

+Art and Food21 I always sing it in English. I don't speak French since I never need to use it. I speak English at home and outside so I will always sing my anthem in English as a personal preference.

@@1812AndMore I understand that French and English are both national languages in Canada, and because French is such a part of Quebec culture, I understand why the government wants to protect it, but I do think it would be smart for the 4 million québécois who don’t speak English to learn the language. I don’t understand how you can say you’re part of a nation if you can’t understand anyone outside of your part of the country. Here in the states we have a massive amount of Spanish speakers, but they still are expected to learn English. Language is a tool for communication, that is all it is.
Can't tell if it's english or french

Well our Prime Minister certainly has been through a lot since that day!!!!! Especially the last four months!!!!!!
Nice. I find "O Canada" as moving and powerful as "The Star-Spangled Banner."

The beauty of Canada's anthem is that it is still relevant. Standing on guard for freedoms and serving as the true north of a moral compass, still undoubtedly Canadian values today. As a military superpower, the idea of the US looking out in the morning to see the star spangled banner still there is quite anachronistic. More likely the rest of the world will be left glowing in the dark before the US lets anything happen to it. While Canada's anthem is very good, my favourite is South Africa's.
O say can you see By the dawns early light What so proudly we hailed At the twilights last gleaming Whose broad stripes and bright stars Through the parilous night Gave proof through the night That our flag was still there O say does that star spangled banner yet wave O’er the land of the free And the home of the brave?
