This game really seems to put the "Art" in pixel art. The creators clearly worked very hard to make this work.

It really does look fantastic

Been playing this for 2 days now. Honestly its amazing, for a $20 game it beats alot of these $60 games

This animation style is very unique. Good job to the art team 🎨

This reminded me Bastion narrative and Ori soundtrack, amazing.

Me and my brother just went nuts playing this for 8 hours straight. Awesome, addictive game. Bravo to the creators!

This is a legitimately great game! It came to steam a few months ago. It's truly fascinating, don't miss it on Switch

terrific game. great value for the price. A fun play loop, and a story that gives you a reason to keep progressing.

Same, I haven't seen this trailer till today, I downloaded it right away, it has moonlighter vibes, same studio 11 publishes it, don't know if same developers worked on this gem, though

@@lesthera87 Nope, the devs are different. Moonlighter was made by Digital Sun and this is Dead Mage's game. :)

Just a reminder, these are the same people who made This War of Mine and Frostpunk so you know it’ll be good and addictingly repayable

What comes to mind when I think about family you ask? I guess despair was the closest out of the three examples atleast.

Reminds me of a mix between Stardew Valley, Owl Boy, and Jotun. I wish this game success.

Beautiful game. Loving it thus far. Can't wait for family night with it. I knew nothing about it and the rollout is so good if you like "feelings". It may not be "special" outside of a touching dungeon hack scenario, but that's what you love or hate about it. It feels like a PS1/Windows 95 game, but plays as easy as the original Zelda/Ultima/Gauntlet/Diablo all do. Between this and Desperados 3, I am happy buying new games again. I'd gladly raise kids on this.

trailers like these I wish they would just cut out the cutscene and show the actual combat because the graphics don't do it for me no matter how pretty the text animations are

I got Mana Spark when it was on sale and the game was enjoyable but it had no depth or nothing to really make me want to grind it out and go to the end. This game on the other hand had sparked my interest from it's first video I saw. Played it for like 30 minutes and was very impressed. Co-op option so hopefully my girlfriend will play with me and online in the future. Love finding hidden gems like this

This trailer is amazing and the game is fantastic

The game is good, but the performance may need to improve a bit on dock mode. :)

I'm really enjoying the game on my switch so far, but unfortunately I have to say that the frames in TV mode aren't that good. Maybe it's not even the frames but more the movement of the camera while the character is moving. It's stuttering and not really enjoyable imo, which is sad cause I would really like to play the game coop with my brother over the TV and with my pro controller 😔 If you guys from 11 bit Studios would be able to deliver a patch that fixes the problem, I would be super grateful! Anyways, thanks for developing this very simple but very fun and nostalgic little gem! :) Greets from Germany 👋

nowonmetube sure! There are many difference but the main ones are rogue likes typically are played on a grid with turned based combat with perms death. Meaning if you die, you start all over agin from the beginning. Rogue lites are typically arpgs and have some sort of progression system like unlocking new abilities as you play more to help the game become easier over time.

Come on we are in 2019 still whit this games

I agree. I played it a while ago and while the art and narration is very good the combat feels horrible, imo. Turned me off big time
