I was in college when toys r us went under(they’re back now and have physical stores again) but I was never sad. The store was waaaay too expensive for my family to shop in as a kid so I just lived without it.

Brings me back memories 😢😢

here is some British stores that also disappeared but reopened: Wilko: reopened 5 stores, toys r us Britain: joined WH smiths and reopened. And that's it

Payless still exists in some locations but the design no longer looks like that.

my mom went to toys r us in may or july 2014. at 2016, she stopped going to toys r us because she moved to seattle.

Ames Department Stores are coming back in 2026 again.

you know what 💀☠️ I now hate my childhood for everything and toys r us because I keep thinking about the past a lot for over year's growing up and I been watching old movie's and old tv shows a lot and I been listen to old music's a lot too and I'm not watch them anymore and not listen to old music's anymore ☠️ and I'm watch new movies and new tv shows for now on and new Roblox games that I'm play and developing a new Roblox game too. 😎
