I still remember during that era, max level cap is only until 120 where xxShadowSinxx is the first to reach. After that he quit ms and MrYanDao overtook him.

From playing a flash soccer game on Yahoo's news website subsection in 2007/2008, to being fortunate enough to play games like HellDivers 2, Cyberpunk 2077, CS2, Grand Turismo 7 on PS5, Xbox One X, my RTX PC and SO. MANY. MORE.... I definitely say that gaming as a whole, allowed me to *endure the mental exhaustion* I was facing in my real life (School Bullying, Parent's Infighting, etc). And it allowed me to meet friends *I would never have met* if I had not been introduced to video games. So thank you to the video game devs (and my parents) for introducing me to video games.

Granted there were some gamer rage moments on the game I played (mostly AAA titles like CoD: MW3, GoW3, GTA5, BF4, and So. Many. More...), and endless amount of times I stayed up for > 24hrs, gaming as a whole taught me well in life.

I am still playing maplestory!! but occasionally based on events xD

indeed childhood memories, nearly forgot all these if weren't for this episode. I remembered playing neopets when I was 4/5 years old, then habbo for many years followed by maplestory. tried auditionsea but didnt quite like it. conversations with classmates back in primary school were habbo followed by maplestory. then I fall ill for many years which made me stopped all these online gaming till secondary school, entire class during free period during cpa would play habbo. I remembered back when was 5/6 years old parents would allow us to buy those credits but after a couple of time, mom didnt allowed us to waste money. and during maplestory, my sis have friends to help level up for free for few days. I would play from after school all the way till 10pm, during school holiday would be 11pm/12mn.

before mryandao there was shadowsin

i remember there was this game, the spinoff of maplestory, the theme is supernature where you fight ghost, zombie, zombie mushroom, undead snail etc. i forgot what was the game called

This made me wants to introduce Maple Game to my son. 😂😂 Educational purpose.

Last time everyday after school play PC games: Neopets, battleon, habbo hotel, RuneScape, mapleSEA, gunbound, gunz, auditionSEA, L4D. Best memory was doing ludibrium party quest in maple, because my character was such a famous PQ Leader everyone kept tracking me. Thought I want to play game for a living. Now grow up no desktop, play Mobile Legends on mobile phone 😂

Agree about how games shaped my generation (same as ryan) but dont agree with the new games these days. Games these days are quick and easy fix, even the grinding are made easier because most gen z had short attention span. Can't say the same now. My staff only plays mobile legends and trust me that game gave him 0 knowledge in problem solving, time management or anything, just mindless 5-10min of fighting every session.
