But mostly in the sense that if someone is poor they shouldn't have kids and if they have kids they could hustle and try to be a good parent but mostly the kid will be the punching bag for the bad reactions of the bad parent, low income parents get angry they are poor and decide to punish their kids. So always the parents to blame.

Writing this as I lay on a Saturday morning in my RH bed with 400 thread count sheets in my peaceful condo drinking an espresso after sleeping in as long as I felt like. Those are just the couples I know who are in good marriages as well as being financially stable. Big Flex! Wouldn't trade it for the world LMFAOOOO On a serious note though, having a choice IS privilege. A HUGE one at that. Having enough resources to live the way you desire isn't an option everyone has. Unfortunately there are some places in the world where some women are so oppressed and vulnerable due to limited rights that they don't. Hell, look at how they're trying to suppress women's rights in the US to try and force women to birth more children. The numbers are declining globally. Many women view motherhood as overrated and are opting out. At any rate, all choices are valid. May everyone have the ability to say they chose their life

I make over 87k a year and I definitely know I’m still not ready to raise a child and this is at 22 yrs old. We need to do better and I’m grateful that I was surrounded by younger and older women that knew that these selfish actions are irresponsible and damaging. Atp y’all are choosing to be single mothers bc the data, the information has been out there for years and now we have media showing you that it doesn’t have to be this way. You are actively making horrible decisions at the expense of a innocent human being.

“Orphan Annie,” my grandmother was an orphan because her parents conceived too many children and they couldn’t afford her, so they abandoned her. She was their 5th child. She grew up in an orphanage and never was adopted, so she never had parents. I cannot even fathom growing up in this world and never having any parents to support you or mentor you through this life. Mind you this was before birth control during 1920s, The Depression. In regard to the abortion topic, people like to argue “adoption” is always the answer, but in all harsh reality not every child gets adopted. Not every adult can financially afford a child. Also, the children in the foster care system barely get any money from the government to live off of, roughly $1000 per month - that’s not livable income in today’s standards. Many children in the foster care system who never get adopted age out of the system and have to fend for themselves once they turn 18 years old. Those children have a high incarceration rate and become victims of human trafficking.

I work with the youth and among those who have issues of resentment toward parents, fear, doubt and regret, one of the most common reasons I hear regarding these, is that their parents projected their brokenness, failures and bad experiences unto them. This often creates inner conflict, when one has been taught one thing, but feels drawn to the immediate opposite. They often say that they wish that they were allowed to form their own opinions, which is why I said that I would rather "ask what she wants", instead of "encouraging" my child towards a certain belief that's based on my own bad experiences or perhaps projecting my fears and failures unto my child. Anyway, grace and peace to you.

I had my first and last child at 43. She’s now 23. I’m agreeing with this young ladies comment. If you really wanna have a child one option just an option is to have the child closer to the end of your fertility cycle. For me, it worked it wasn’t planned, but it worked because by then I had a bachelors degree and a masters degree was getting ready to work on license for clinical therapy I mean so the money was there to provide stability and security for my daughter as her father was not in the picture by the time my daughter was 12 he passed away so I think that if you want to do this for you and have a kid then you wait until you are closer to the end of your giving birth cycle and let me tell you you’re still might be climbing the ladder for business but it’s a joy when you have enough money and you have stability that you can share with your daughter is gravy for your daughter cause you’ve done well for yourself . to watch them grow up happy loving and worry Free no worries at all i s a beautiful thing.

I got an IUD and hate it so Im going to get a copper non hormonal one in the New Year because the serious weight gain from this is ridiculous. The next step when I get better insurance is to get my tubes tied. Pregnancy is literally one foot in the grave and im not doing that for NO MAN. I DONT trust any man enough to give him my womb.

Is it me or has anyone else noticed that the ones that try and spew hate towards women that don't have kids are always the men struggling, broke, hideous, or just have nothing going for them? Like I have never heard or seen successful, SECURE men spew this nonsense. I believe that the strugglies know that they will never reach the standard to attract and procreate with women so they instead try to humble woman, make her feel worthless, so she thinks that a brokie is the best she can do? Like this is my hypothesis and the evidence is compelling.

The nurse in the video that says poverty is a problem that is very true and that was one of the reason why marriage was a solution back in the days because marriage brought on financial stability and tax benefits to help with the poverty line as you raise a child. now that we need Financial benefit the most. When Economy going bad is when people decide opt out of one off the old way to get tax benefit ie marriage. it’s still a solution to poverty, not the whole solution, but it still help especially if you and your spouse are college educated and make decent of money. It’s ironic now when the economy is bad, we have men that are at the highest rate of high school dropout because they wanted some type of entertainment rap career, barely getting their GED and getting $15 managerial position at Walmart, are making threats on your life to have their kids to make you their next baby mama and using shaming tactics that they’re repeating from podcast bros. The climate for women having kids is unfixable

👍👍Women should never partner with or have kids with a male who can barely provide for himself; marriage won't solve anything for women with these males. Financially unstable or poor males still marry (then & now). The women who marry these males don't improve their lives by marrying & having kids. Women shouldn't marry males or have their children in a hostile environment (that males created).

If a woman knows she does not want children and all that comes with it WHAT IS THE PROBLEM? People need to learn how to truly mind their business. Mind the business that is in front of you, under your roof, you are responsible for... Always going for the throats of women who are taking care of themselves and minding their own business.

Im so happy to see this movement because carrying trauma or animosity for different sexes will be a critical risk factor for whatever children these women have. Relationship require so much empathy and humility they literally would be single parents in the making.

Single mothers are not the issue. Single parent households are the problem. Male children raised without a present, loving, protective, PROVIDING father become problems in society later on as they have no one positive to emulate. Stay child free.

This mindset actually glorifies the involvement and importance of men in a way. Honestly, a lot of kids are better off without their father. The best thing my kid's dad ever did for us was stay away. Life has been so much better for everyone ever since.

This is absolutely not true. Single mothers with financial means and a supportive community can raise children successfully as they have the resources to address all of the child’s needs. It is poverty and single mothers that is the core issue.

🥳🥳🥳 100% don't have kids. Don't do it. Along with how the outside world treats you (you're never good enough), your family will treat you like crap and not actually help, you're never a good enough parent to your kids (the kids let you know eventually), and you're passing down all your family genetics that might mess your and your child's whole life up (disabilities, mental health issues, etc.). Don't have kids. Don't waste your time and energy.

I knew since i was 13 i did not want children just watching what my mother went through raising us. I even felt she hated us most of the times. She was a single mother because my Father actually died when he was in the military back in the 90s. Im 34 now and still do not want kids and i definitely dont feel like making my kids feel like i hate them because of how stressful, and taxing it is financially, mentally, spiritually, emotionally and physically it is on our bodies. No thank you.

9:45 She is absolutely correct. My mother was a twice divorced SM and neither my father or my brothers father paid child support. My mother went back to school and got her degree and had an amazing career. We lived well as she was a great provider. I’m childfree by choice. My brother has 5 from 3 different women. I figure he had enough for me too.

Divorced single mother here to completely cheer all you child-free ladies on!🎉❤️💐🥂 My daughter is 13 and has proclaimed herself to be child free since she started her cycle at the age of 10! I’ve always been honest and open about life with my children and as my oldest child and only daughter she has made the decision for herself to remain childless for life. My oldest son, 12, says he doesn’t want children or romantic relationships but wants to live life single but philanthropic- building systems to help the less-privileged people on earth. I homeschool and work from home so childcare is not an issue right now but geez is it still hard. Luckily though, there’s no dusty man child around (by his own choice) to stress us out. I’m so proud of the women who figured out the key sooner, and I’m in 110% support of this life saving movement❤️🎉 Remaining child free during this climate of reckless abandonment by fathers that goes unpunished by far is the best thing women can do to begin to make positive changes in the world- and the surest way to save your life! 💯
