Yes, they do po. I just don't know if they accept all levels or types of special needs in public facilities. But definitely, i've encountered children with special needs who were from public childcare facilities.

This also applies for people on working visa? Both parents on working visa?

Yes po. I think priority for slots is given to those parents who are both working.

For single parents, I think they also have special considerations. They're among the priorities.

Depende pa rin po yata sa oras ng pagtatrabaho ng mga magulang. Kasi kung may pwedeng mag-alaga na sa bata, mas maiksi po yung time na pwedeng iwan.

Hi do you know po ba how to be a staff or assistant staff in daycare center ? May mga filipino po ba or foreign workers silang hinahired ?

Sa mga public daycare po? I don't know any. But for private kindergartens and nursery schools po, I know some.

Meron, sir. Kapag niregister nyo sa city or ward office yung mga anak nyo, tatanungin na agad kayo kung gusto nyo silang ipasok sa childcare. Kung oo, tutulungan nila kayong maghanap ng mga facilities na malapit sa tirahan nyo. Kung walang malapit, irerefer nila kayo sa ibang childcare facilities within the city or municipality din.

@jammabayo basta kapag niregister nyo sila as new residents saka sa child welfare, itanong nyo na din yung sa childcare. Pero habang wala pa sila, pwede na kayo magtingin-tingin ng mga malalapit na public hoikouen na pwedr nilang pasukan.

Noong wala pang work si misis, we only paid more or less 3k yen sa public childcare facility. That's half of the fees we paid nung may work na sya. Tapos nung lumipat ng school, private kasi yun pero subsidized ng city, yung regular monthly fee ay 6k+. May mga months na mas malaki depending on the activities ng mga bata.
