I still consider Child's Play one of the scariest horror movies I've seen. The score was tremendous (which totally sets the tone). The fact that you don't see the doll moving or talking until practically the end made it even scarier. Once he starts cracking jokes and being a wise ass, it takes away from the horror of a doll being alive.

I promise that I am not being negative or thoughtless, therefore I hope Brad Dourif realizes that he can put down his role if he ever felt exhausted and burn out because that expression after that laugh made me sad (I know, he stated that he will not quit the role if his daughter is in it, although . . .. . I am concern for him in good terms and I hope Fiona keeps encouraging him in good spirit and be Ok if he discontinues the role of Chucky) :(

I could have my masters degree with the amount of time I spent looking at my closet expecting that damn doll to come out and kill me.

Fiona in real life is so beautiful.If Her acting roles show her as either plain jane (like in Curse or Cul) or cRazy looking like in Dirk Gently.Not only is she an amazing second gem actor she is so pretty. Just on acting alone Brad has to bea proud papa.
