My little girl has just turned 3 this week and when we go out to places we play “I see” . If she’s getting antsy waiting at a restaurant I would say “I see something blue” and she’d scan the room for something blue. Recently she has started taking initiate in taking the lead on telling us what SHE sees. It’s a fun state.

What if my child is delayed in speech? Will this also delay him making friends and playing more with kids? He has no problem going up to them, but I guess he doesn’t have the words to initiate a game. Also, I feel terrible in that I doubt he understands the game “tag”. He’ll be 4 in March. 😔

Thank you for your channel! My son is more 3.5 years old and we moved from a small town to the big city...but since COVID-19 has hit everywhere it’s so hard to keep up his social learning. Thankfully we can go back to certain places like church, but the playgrounds are still closed. He’s a social butterfly and I hope to potty train him fully to the point where that isn’ta hiccup in trying to get him into a school or daycare... At what point are boys fully potty trained? I feel like we’ll never be done

Can you please clarify the CDC guidelines at all? The 3yr old milestones are by the time they turn three or that they learn it during their third year?

My daughter is an only and doesn't got to school or daycare. People always "warn me" she'll be behind socially, blah blah blah. She's legit the most outgoing kid. My problem is I don't know how to direct her in moments when she needs some assistance. Example: she plays lil hoops (basketball) at our community center and she and another girl were yelling back and forth at each other about who was it. (like no i am, no i am kind of yelling) The other little girls mom had her daughter apologize to mine but mine doesn't get it. Or i don't know how to help her. Suggestions? (Hope this makes sense)
