Dumbfounded really, he had no idea who he was talking to as she only said "we have received a 111 call " but not who she was.

great of the call operator to have send the police over even though it looked like a "silly call". awesome that the child really had some toys for the officers, i cant stop smiling ☺. and that nothing sinister was going on was also great. what a sweet story, loving it!

This is way better than someone calling the police because Mcdonalds is out of chicken nuggets (It happens in North America). I'm glad they were able to make his day. Cheers from Canada.

I've known some great U.S. police - but I've known some of the other kind, too. In the U.S. you always have to assume that the cop in front of you may be one of the nasty ones, and that you are in danger. If it turns out not to be one of the dangerous ones, great - but you always have to be on your guard, and know the number of a lawyer. And use your phone to video the encounter.
