Oh most definitely. When I still had my little one anytime someone would cry he would run to them to make sure they are ok and he was a genius he would just look at stuff and you could see he was trying a way to figure it out to find a way to get it and chew it up oh man do I miss him. 🤘🥲♥️

Ya I have one his name is Rudy he’s only like ten pounds oil that and he was given to me because he was being abused by his father who would take all his food and not let him eat and would torment him so bad by biting at him and barking and growling at him that little Rudy would just sit there with his head down and try not to hide from it. Then they had to put them in a small dog carrier because of the children who would always be at him and mistreat him. So I took him because no one wanted him because he was so sensitive from being dominated. To this day I still have to hand feed him sometimes because he is to shy to eat and I have to break it up into little pieces and tell him it’s okay. Poor little guy he’s so wonderful and I love him so much he just needs to be taken care of and be treated with love because he was from a unhealthy home. But he is happy now always smiling and snuggling into me. He’s kinda lazy and likes to sleep especially on rainy days like today, There great dogs and I never planned to have him I just kinda fell in love with him and the owners seem that I was very patient and kind with him so they said I was the only one they would let have him because he needed a lot of love and to be treated with care. I love him so much he’s my best friend!!

I never had a dog before until 2017 when I bought my boy from Pet Smart. The worker there brought him to me and placed him in on my chest. My new boy looked up at me and licked my chin. That was it. I was his mommy. He's a gold, long haired chihuahua. We love him so much.

I got a chiwawah / Wiener dog mix from a shelter. At the beginning he was crunching on my nerves and the patience of my retriever mix. In the first two weeks I thought that we can't stay together or I will drown him, he was so unbelievably angry. 2 years later he is still here, owns my flat and my life and I love him like a child.

I love chihuahuas. I never understood breed loyalty until my previous chihuahua. He died at 10 yrs old after a year of chemo. I said - NO - never again. It absolutely IS like losing a child. About a year later I found myself wandering into the Humane Society ( some 20 miles away ). No way. I’m just gonna look. Definitely not leaving with a dog today. They had a 9 mos chihuahua mix. Yes, I took him home. I simply did the same things with my new boy -Papi that I’d done with Maximus previously. It all fell into place in 3 days. One thing I would like to say. People think chihuahuas snap, bite and tremble. Neither of my boys ever did. I have a quiet low key home. Papi love flying, Amtrak, driving and his stroller. We’re a team for 12 years now. He’s much better than a husband.

Aw man I miss my Nala she was a cream white chihuahua my first dog ever got her on my bday last year at 8 weeks. Sadly someone stole her when she was 9 months. 6 months Later after finally accepting she’s gone my new chihuahua was just born. I am so excited chihuahuas are so loving funny and full of personality.

I noticed in some comments people speaking badly about our precious Chi’s for barking, being aggressive, nipping, etc.. It’s true they will alert you, and if they are not used to a lot of people around they will nip (but not bite). You’ll never find a more loyal, protective, loving pet than a Chihuahua. So no Chi owners don’t pick them because they Bark, nip, have big eyes, and might be aggressive toward you. They can sense a dog lover! Sincerely a Chi Lover

My 16 year old chihuahua keeps me going. He tells me let go for a walk. He tests my food before I eat it. If he doesn’t like it I won’t eat either. Without him I’m a loss . Butkus is service pup trained to alert me to sezours. If I’m going to have one he senses it through body tremors and then he barks crazy. At that point I can just set or get in spot so I don’t fall on my head. He’s saved me several times. Valuable is an under statement . 🎉

Then why are you watching this ? Clearly you either have met badly educated Chis or you're just a sheep repeathing what others says. (Maybe both.) Chihuahuas are a wonderful breed, very loyal and loving. Sure they bark (they're dogs duh), mostly to protect the home, perfect alarm dogs. Learn for real about the breed

So aggressive, shivering, snappy and nasty, compared to other dogs like labradors, they seem to fit their owners, uptight people that their dog choice mirrors. Every owner of a chiwawa has been the same type of personality. Wouldn't have these around children but then I guess when you can't have a child have this. you can fit it in a handbag.....

What a grump! Dogs that bit have been taught to fear. Dogs that overbark too much are incorrectly disciplined. When a Chihuahua hates men they have been kicked. I had one for 15 years. He was the most loving dog I ever owned. He never hurt me, or stole from me or lied. I have never met a man who could hold a candle to him.

I don't even understand why some people are calling them "cute." They are NOT! Looks like their eyes will fall off when the tilt their head. I guess it's true that the only people that find them cute or adorable are the ones that own those ugly creatures.
