Sure would love it, as long as it's accessible to the bulk of the player-base. That is to say, not a Clan Wars or Personal Missions reward tank, since both of those are far too hard and time consuming for most people. Those Tier 10 Personal Missions are borderline impossible for most people. But I also wouldn't want to see it monetized in some awful way or made into a limited time only release.

@@Angrymuscles Wargaming *needs* to make the Chieftain Mk.6 a tech tree tank. Create a mini-branch of British heavies with the Chieftain Mk.6 at Tier 10, a Chieftain Mk.1 at Tier 9, and something like "FV4201 Concept" at Tier 8. A tank as iconic as the Chieftain should have *some* version in the tech tree for sure.

If WG sells the new Chief than its a new try of how shameless WG can pickpocket the Playerbase: First they nerf the techtree SConq and than they release a replacement tank that becomes maybe the new meta. Even if they dont sell it its stupid chause of the SConq nerf...

Remember when they nerfed Progetto 65 and then they introduced the Lion? S conq was recently nerfed btw

Progetto was nerfed after Lion introduction. Nevertheless, that was stupid.

This should be a tech tree tank, with chief prot. as tier 9 and nemesis/chieftain T95 as a tier 8. Would be the proper way to have those tanks implemented, they should be available to everyone, seeing as they lead up to the famous challenger tanks

Only problem is that the Chieftain/T95 and Chieftian Proto are both prem tanks so they would need to reimburse players if they were to make them a tech tree tank and we know that ain't going to happen

Been saying this for a while, but now it’s too late because it’s already a premium. Then again, knowing WG, they did make a premium KV-2, premium T32 (with altered stats), premium emil 1 (kinda). They technically could make a tech tree version of the chieftain Prot, nemesis, chieftain/T95. But they wouldn’t do that because there’s no money in it

With that weak spot on top I suspect it's going to be like the T110E5 situation: decent brawler but easily brought down aiming at the tumor on top, which is nice to see. It forces the player to wiggle the turret as much as possible to protect the cupola.

The Chieftain Mk. 6 was tested for the PC in 2016, but it was then released for the console version and has also been available for the mobile phone version for a long time. It's finally coming to the PC (EU server)

Actually, only Chinese mainland server have it right now .

On console the Chieftain MK 6 is the preferred comp heavy with its insane DPM and hull down capabilities. Cupola is hard to reliable pen as well

I once cupola sniped one with the shitbarn for full hesh pen from about 400m, this was pre-hesh nerf but it was some shot. I must have killed half his crew because he didn't stick around.

This is what weak points on all tanks should look like. Not 3 pixels here and there, but big and easy to hit if you can use your hands and brain. Back in the old days, each tank had at least 2 or 3 of those in their models (driver hatch, commander cupola and machine gun port). Tanks added in the last few years with almost no weak points on their turrets are just stupid mad OP in current WOT meta and map designs. It would be sweet if that size of cupola were present on the CV prize variant too.

My brother saw one of these in game the other day, don't think the player using it did amazingly though. I played console for a good few years to know they probably need to nerf it somehow before bringing it in. I bet it comes from assembly shop as well, so will be hard to obtain and probably owned by the best players, so doubly needs a nerfing lol

I spotted chief mk6 2 days ago on Abbey.

I hope to god it's either put into the game as assembly shop or just a tech tree branch off I've been wanting it for years and I'd be extremely upset if it's locked behind onslaught or whatever other mode

I've seen a number of these in random battles and its also been in console for a long time as a tech tree tank off conqueror

They should make the chieftain MK6 permanently available for everyone but behind some special assignments. Or they could make it a tech tree tank, this would be the best option imo.

for a tank that was not just build and tested but also mass produced and saw combat there is only one mandatory option: it goes into the tech tree. the Mk 6 shown here is actually distinct enough from the super conq to justify an own branch. just needs fitting predecessors.

Can't wait to send it back to garage.

Feels more like a medium dressed up as a heavy given that armor, gun, and overall mobility. Only thing it lacks compared to proper mediums is view range.

Have they abandonded the Vickers Mk III? I've not heard anything about it for a while

I playing in Borsig about perhaps 4 years ago got destroyed by the same vehice in live server. It was on NA server.

I always thought that the T95/FV4201 was the Chieftan Mk.6 in blitz, but with the coupla deleted. Btw, Dez, the Chieftan Mk.6 is in World Of Tanks Blitz for more then 5 years already, its one of the most original Tier 10 premium tank of the game, maybe u should try play blitz again like u have on the Yoh line!

I meet him some time ago and well he got killed pretty fast by a FV so short live.

My guess is it will be exactly like the unnerfed chief, but have a larger cupola and WG will put it in the assembly shop.

It was an extremely fun and well balanced tank on WoT Console. I hope they add it to PC in a similar fashion.

Tl;dr tier 9 Chieftain prototype armour with insane DPM at tier 10.

People will quickly realize the mk.6 is a lethal medium killer. Purple equipment rammer, turbo, and vents hull down shoot and scoot or dpm brawling. Shoot on the move and don't bother aiming in. Max dpm will be 3,997.48, basically 4k dpm.

I was fighting against a Chief Mk6 with an Kranvagn and i was able to kill it easily. Weak turret (in Wot Blitz he had 360 armor with some weakspots at turret and here he had 260 armor) and paper hull like chief proto in tier 9.

They should remove old chef and replace with this one

Lol in wotb we have the cheftain mark6 for a long time In fact ist getting its 3rd legendary camo (3d style) First one was practicaly a uk flag on the entire tank 2nd one was a megadeath camo And 3rd will be a historical camo (makes the tank to look like a cheftain mk.11 from warthunder mobile

Saw it a while ago in-game, ridiculous stats (under 2k average DPG after 59 games), driven by 6500 rating player in platoon with regular T95 Chieftains...

Love all Centurion-like tanks. Hopefully they make it a tier 6 premium, so you could actually have fun. It better not be locked behind some nonsense mission requiring you to play artilleries or clan….whatever.

I had 2 in my match at one point and people asked what its for and one replied it is a reward for something to do with the achievement system

This tank is beautiful. I think I'll go back to playing just to play with it if it indeed come out.

I think a little buff is needed to the armor, but only a little bit so it can troll tanks like Hori. And then they should swap the current chief with this. Pro players would be able to abuse this tanks while not being a absurd op tank.

We already have it in WoTB🤘and also KPZ70/MBT70 with 152 mm main gun

This could become the second reward for clan missions. Cause what is the reason to carry on doing this missions if you got Carro 45t and all the other rewards?

the carro isn't a good reward to begin with, i have had mine for 2-3 years now and its just average. the only benefit is for all the bad players to get it so its wn8/ moe drop

The chieftain mk6 Its on WoT Blitz, the cupola is massive and if u load HEAT (in blitz at least) you can cut through the UFP to the Driver's viewport

I have it as a tier 6 premium tank in Armored Warfare, as a British tank lover I WANT IT! I am not a... Whale though, so maybe I won't get it. I doubt if WG will create a new British Heavy tank tree with Chieftain on tier X...

I don't think it would been OP when it was first put into the files like 6 years ago, it was basically a less awkward 215b. If you compare it the 215b it has very similar gun handling to that, a little bit more DPM (like 0.4s reload time), it's similar power to weight, similar traverse, a little faster and has about as many weakspots as the 215b. So it is basically a 215b without the awkward rear turret and the 215b is one of the worst performing tier 10 heavies.

Would be typical for wg to nerf a tank just to release it again as a reskin version without the nerfs applied. Cause the demand for toys that are broken/overpowered is big. People cry about balancing issues yet will be the first once to exploit any broken/OP tank they can get their hands on just to feel better about themselves.

It better be a tech tree vehicle, it was on wot console. Why shouldn't it be now. But it probably won't be, and wg will make it an assembly shop tank which is disappointing. But we can hope they will prove me wrong

honestly, WG should just replace Cheiftain t95 with this and place as the t10 at british heavy line instead of super conquer. af balancing of course. but i dont think it looks broken.

I bet for that T95FV4201 after our global map war but unfortunately my bonds were not enough for me to win it because I spent my 30k bonds buying improved equipments 😢

The first one is not a Chieftain. It is a T95 with a Chieftain turret. The only real Chieftain, is the Chieftain Prototype at Tier 9. (and maybe the Mk. 6 in the future😉)

honestly speaking a basemodel T-64/Obj.432 (with the 115mm, no composite, 4-man crew) would fit perfectly at tier IX, while early Obj. 434/T-64As (125mm[or 130mm like the gun already present], 3-man crew and also no composite) would make a viable tier X

Chiftain MK 6 is definitely worse than the Chiftain fv4201. We in Blitz have already got the MK 6 it has not the best turret armor decent just here and there little weak spots on the turret but might be different on p c, but good gun depression and good dpm.

Feels like this is the reasonable Chieftain design which was rejected back in the day.

Mk.6 should've replaced the FV215B

I see the next clan wards reward tank, with the turret cancer removed and the frontal turret armor increased by 150, frontal hull armor by 100. Regardless of how they release it, unless it's the assembly shop it will be ENTIRELY out of the reach of the average player. Missions are already effectively impossible for average players to complete and if this thing is available as a clan wars reward tank it will be just as effectively impossible to get no matter how many bonds are pissed away while top tier clans will get it effectively free, utterly ruining the already pointless CW and skirmish modes.

if they added modern tanks I might come back to the game, never before that

The Mk VI, the Tank that WG itself couldn't Balance so they left it in the Files and let China Sell it for Cash since they aren't TECHNICALLY WG Proper but a Leased Access Server... When it was Announced all those Years Ago, I wanted it because I liked the Brit Tanks, but with the Inability for WG to get the Balance Right on it, it got Garaged.. Am I at ALL Surprised that it's being Tested Now, No, it's a Cash Thing and WG'll never Turn Down Cash... Like the Waffle Events, I still think those are Testing to see if the Game has Caught Up to the Waffle before it makes it's Appearance in Regular Battles like the Olde Days...

Yeah probably, but then if they have to bring another British HT, they surely won’t make it so similar to the existing heavy tech tree which is the S Conqueror, which was just nerfed. I doubt they will just replace SCon with this

I mean judging by the previous assembly shops the next tank should be a medium-tank. And guess what: the Vickers Mk.3 is a medium that was also tested recently. My guess (and hope) would be the next assemblyshop tank to be the Mk. 3 and the Chief Mk.6 to ptobably replace the T95/Chief in CW (also hopefully not. WG just put it into the bondstore pls)

They should make tier XI tanks in tech tree to counter 279e, all kinds of chieftains, etc..

@@deeku3385 They definitely wouldn't do -2 mm so it would prioritise all the Tier 10 to Tier 11 mm so the Tier 10 players would meet Tier 8 less which would mean Tier 8 players would meet Tier 6 more and ruin that mm
