Chiefs go Hollywood, signing Marquise Brown to a one-year, $7 million deal | NFL | UNDISPUTED

Спорт

The Kansas City Chiefs are back-to-back Super Bowl champions but are not settling. They added another WR weapon for Patrick Mahomes by signing Marquise Brown to a one-year, $7 million deal. Skip Bayless and Michael Irvin react to the signing.

Now they do need a LT. They have the best interior lineman in the league. They have Pacheco. Just need to draft a back up or even get a vet back. As for the whole team, they are gonna be better than last year. Defense will be better. And if offense didn’t drop all those passes. They would have been rank in the top 5 in offense. I mean they was number 1 in offense the year before without a WR1 and no WR getting over 1k yards. Chiefs are very scary and battle tested. They will make it to the AFC championship at least that far

I honestly saw three teams go off their game plan against the Chiefs …Bills, Ravens, and 49ers both did the same thing they stopped running the ball and didn’t try to double Travis kelce and it just crazy 3 experience head coaches saw all year that was their weakness and they all watched film from the previous games and three times in row watched them all lost close games cause they went off script they know how to run the ball chiefs had trouble defending that (their strength was a pass defense)…and double Kelce no one else could catch on that team …I’ve been watching football a very long time…this playoff was about the strangest I’ve seen …those 3 teams just didn’t use their strengths and didn’t attack the Chiefs weakness …so it is what it is now they got a chance to be the first 3 peat team …they did pretty well this offseason…all we can hope for is Pat hit that cliff early unlike Brady who did it 20 years or it’s gone be another 20 years one team just dominating the league 🤷🏾‍♂️

Marquise Brown caught 51 passes for 574 yards in 2023 but he was passed to 101 times. As a group Cardinals receivers caught 64% of the passes thrown their way but Brown only caught 50% of the passes thrown his way.

Why are you guy's hating on Hollywood Brown. He had Kyle Murray and josh Dobbs has qb but he hasn't a qb like mahomes and Andy Reid coaching them. This is very interesting and important signing because andy reid we have plays for marquise Hollywood Brown that we utilize is skills sets. Let's look out how andy Reid and mahomes used juju. Juju was fantastic because andy Reid put juju in places that utilize his skills sets. It doesn't matter if we get a good or mediocre wide receiver that's not the point. How do you use the weapons you have to win games that's the important thing not to get a big name wide receivers.
