"What is man without the beasts? If all the beasts were gone, man would die from a great loneliness of spirit. For whatever happens to the beasts, soon happens to man. All things are connected." ~Chief Seattle Thank you Papillon for this wonderful recitation! Namaste ~shiva

An inspirational message with deep respect for the environment. Not only does this speech illustrate Chief Seattle’s poetic appreciation of nature and his deeply spiritual understanding of the interconnectedness of all living things, it also epitomizes the ancient wisdom within Native American cultures generally--a wisdom that many view as lost in the highly technical and materially oriented urban industrial societies of present times. Heartfelt thanks for a beautiful share...❤

such a glorious culture which mastered the art of living with the nature like one and loving it like their very own life ...so much understanding of life to live harmoniously with mother earth which can never be achieved by the destructive mentality of the European settlers

As we know the leaves are from the central branch at the beginning, we as life and our technology as a branch takes us higher in living but our ancestors as root teach us the survival .

It does`t matter the name of one individual author because this is the voice of a collective dream. I think that the Great Chief Seattle didn`t demand over this pettiness. what imports is to go on bearing this Heritage.
