yes. I am sure i mentioned this song title before. This is a must see. Junna is mind blowingly amazing. Some of the moves she does here are so fast you almost have to replay it in slomo to catch it. Also, if what i read is accurate, what is even more amazing. Junna is ~22 years old, One would assume she had to have been born with drums sticks in her hands but i saw she only started playing when she was 15.

Pleased Trident are getting the love they deserve. They are always good value and entertaining. Another Japanese band that has no weakness.

Junna is one of my favorite drummers. A few months ago one of my favorite guitarists, Mayto, of Hagane (I hope you get a chance to hear them) tweeted about a new recording project she just finished for an anime. I ordered the CD from Disk Union along with a bonus DVD and my excitement level went off the chart when I saw Junna was the drummer. The new Trident video is really good. Miss Junna in the band but the balance is better. She will hopefully find a band more to her style.

Yeah I've seen a few people say that the energy is more balanced without Junna, looking forward to confirming (or denying) that for sure but I'd honestly also love to see Junna in a new setting. She gave me that same feeling that I got when I saw Joey for the first time. Flawless, furious and technically sound. I'm gonna have to check out her covers and stuff cause I can definitely see why she'd be up there on your list and this was my only experience so far. VERY talented indeed! At the time of this song. Trident did not exist. In this song is Asaka (guitar-vocals) Serina(bass/back up vocals)) Junna (Drums) - At the time of this song "Voltage" they were going by the band name "Girls Rock Band Kakumei" According to Asaka, at the time that Junna left the band, they took a break and then was reformed by adding a new drummer - Nagisa. It was only then that they decided to rename the group "Trident". I still think it amazing that they appear to have found a drummer that has the same energy and style as Junna.

Honestly, I'm really looking forward to being able to assess the differences between the two line-ups. I think a couple of other people have said that Nagisa is a better fit for the band and that's definitely exciting info, although I REALLY enjoyed Junna in this. It also gives me an excuse to go see Junna's cover stuff and see just how good she is!

@@Chief322 as final proof of name change. All you have to do is copy / paste the song title of this video in google translate - ガールズロックバンド革命 - Voltage is translated to "Girls Rock Band Revolution" , that is another name i have seen them use. Kakumei translates to revolution.

Aye, it's Junna. With all due respect to the ghost of Keith Moon, in my opinion there's no drummer who's more fun to watch than Junna in full flight. Speed, precision, and most of all sheer joyful enthusiasm. She left the band a while ago, but their new drummer Nagisa is no slouch either. "Volatage" is the only Trident song I really love. Is it because they were still under their former name "Girl Rock Band Kakumei"? Maybe is it because of Junna? Or is it because the drum production of their studio songs? 🤔

Yeah this is so HYPE! I'm sad that Apple Music sounds like a completely different version, maybe it was re-released with Nagisa on but yeah. Song is hype.

Another awesome Japanese band - they are making all the good music of the 21st century! These used to be called Kakumei when Junna was banging the skins but she left in 2020 and they changed their name to Trident the same year (which is a bit odd as there is already a very Metal Swedish band with this name!). 🤘

I hope you're well, brother :) I'm honestly looking forward to discovering more of these since learning the drummer situation but also really wanna have a look at Junna some more because she was great in this, IMO. I agree with a few other comments, saying that maybe she detracts from the other members a little, so I'm looking forward to seeing the difference with the new drummer for sure.

Oh hell yeah. Stoked and haven't even watched it yet. TRiDENT kick ass. All due respect to 2abug, this is far from their only good tune. Ambivalent or No Regret or Utopia ETC. all great. The new live video for no regret shows new drummer Nagisa killing it. Astonishingly she has all the talent AND stage presence as Junna. Blows my mind really.

Junna Junna Junna! Just a heads up This is NOT "TRIDENT" This IS "Girls Rock Band Kakumei" (GRB Revolution) they changed their name when Junna left and obviously this still has Junna on Drums. Trident I'm not as fond of too synth heavy for my taste.

This is Trident with junna as a drummer and i not like it cause she too overwhelmed. Please react too new trident song with new drummer. I recommend "Trident - Imagination"

Trident is a great band, after Band-Maid, one of the best all-female Japanese bands in the rock genre. For a 3-piece band, they sound phenomenal. Juna is great, but Nagisa is equally good and a better choice for the band. I recommend as the next 3-member female band MUTANT MONSTER. Members are twins BE (Bass & Vocals), MEANA (Guitar & Vocals) and CHAD (Drums & Chorus - classmate). They play pure rock & roll and are very talented. Nah, not your best reaction tbh, it’s not a great song, at best it’s average and over produced IMO. Trident is a average band in terms of Japanese rock bands. Junna is amazing but they have a better sound in general without her.
