Chief Adebanjo is speaking the mind of Nigerians, ..in my opinion the rule of law can not be subordinated to public interest because the very essence of the rule of law was that it was set up in the best interest of public with the necessary checks and balances. To jettison the rule of law under the guess of public interest is tantamount to tyranny .

"He [referring to Buhari] has no basis for democratic touch. By birth he's a feudalist. By training as a military he's a dictator." That said it all about Buhari. There are two perennial problems bewildering Nigerians: first, we don't learn from history. Second, we don't admit that human behavior is cyclical. We expect people to change overnight.

We would allow old people who have less than 15 years to live, to come restructure for we the younger people? No! Restructuring must be based on the terms of a younger citizens, championed by the a president of conscience which is neither Atiku nor Buhari!

Sir Ayo Adebanjo should have been truthful about the 2nd question on the unexpected, sudden and consistent fall in price of crude oil( our major source of foreign exchange) from around $100 to $27 between 2015/2016. No Nation would have escaped what happened to Nigeria more importantly that we know that the previous administration left with so much of our monies (as evident by the few they have caught up with including patience Jonathan). You don't have to be around since Awo's time to know what Nigeria would face. The same elder statesman has forgotten that; (1.) Both OBJ and ATHIEFKU spent $16billion on electricity with nothing to show for it despite PDP continuing till 2015.Yet he never queried their failure. 2. The same ATHIEFKU this man is shamelessly marketing to Nigerians stole enough of our monies with OBJ and they both built private universities for themselves right before our nose while they were both in office. ATHIEFKU knew he could restructure his pocket by stealing from us as vice when he was in charge of Privatization of our National assets. Not all of us are stupid to accept your untruthful and incomplete analysis. Nigeria needs economic restructuring at this time not the physical restructuring to stabilise before we can achieve devolution of powers where resource control would be key.

osajare oladimeji I just dey laugh when I finished reading your post. Maybe you should read your post again. Are you talking about price of crude oil that we export OR the price we buy refined products like petrol in Nigeria? I hope you know they are 2 different things. Nigeria earns income from the crude oil we sell to other countries and that is the one I referred to in my earlier post. It was well around $100 to $140 per barrel of crude oil before 2015 which means we made more money. Now compare it to when the same crude oil price now started falling to down to $27 which means a big reduction in the amount we would make. The history of how much we have been buying petrol in Nigeria is different from my earlier post. Please get it right.
