The way to tell a good band from a great one?? Look at the faces of the musicians. A look of sheer joy as if to say " I can't believe I'm playing with Chick Corea" AND getting paid for it....

He returned to forever...

in his music there are Spain, Africa, and all other history of mankind civilization. Rest in peace maestro

Only Chick Corea could accompany a conga solo like that. Just brilliant!

Chick's touch is instantly recognizable. His way of articulating is something no one can emulate, along with his choice of voicing and melodic lines. One of the most amazing voices and icons in jazz.

Wasn't this just one of the best, if not THE best, concert performances by ANY band ANYWHERE? EVER? We love you Chick, thankyou for the music, the beauty, the joy and the happiness you gave to us all.

Chick lives on for a long time. This video testifies to it: The dialogues with all participating jazz musicians are unique. This is jazz in its purest form and great art.

I'm ashamed to confess I didn't know who was Chick Corea until a few days ago when I was listening/watching videos in youtube. And then I just found out that he recently passed away :( Rest in Peace Maestro, thank you so much for your music and the videos you left behind sharing your knowledge with all of us aficionados.

Absolutely incredible. What a performance by the whole band. Highlight for me is when Chick joins Quintero, the percussion player, in his solo. Magnificent.

I'm crying in seeing what kind of beauty is capable to create the connection between humans

In 1961 Chick.was doing the same things with Phil Barbados in Revere Beach, MA. You knew he was good but few people saw how good.

We lost a giant, but his music will let us remembering him forever.
