When my papa was young he watched the series however political situation in our country got the series banned. Fast forward a decade I was in my youth and I am the one watching the series he said he never had a chance to finish it. And we finished it together when I was young. 20 years from that time now, I discovered this song which is the ending is about the longing of a son for his father. It is more than a year now since my oldman died now this song hold something dear to me more than the nostalgia with the series but also about my papa how I miss him now. It makes me go in tears more now than ever.

There was no bioman , no shaider , voltes V, GI joe , he-man, combatller v, mazinger z , even some of the game shows were cancelled. Every show of any station needed approval from the gov't before being aired. That's why in the 90s when gma announced that they'll air voltes V everyone lost their shit. I was probably 6 or 7 at that time and when I mean everyone all TV stations all radio stations were talking about was voltes V , these were 20-30 years old adults , even MTV had a special episode and a documentary about voltes V's return. You should watch it , it explained the situation back then.

Haha I remember back when I lived in the phillipines, I would get so excited seeing the theme song and would jump around pretending to be like them. My grandfather and I would watch Voltes V and when I get home from school he'd make sure to save the TV for the both of us so no one else can watch while we watch this show. It was our thing for a couple of years then I moved to America and got sad we couldn't watch the show we loved so much together anymore. My grandma told me that he still saves the TV and would watch it himself after I left. Now Im crying because I miss him so much, it's been so long since Ive seen him. The only time I got to see him again was when I went back home 2 years ago because he was already slowly getting sick... but man this song brings so many fond memories from my childhood.

this one, Aoi Akira was the one who wrote the lyrics. Vocals was done by Ichiro Mizuki. Like Horie Mitsuko, Ichiro was also a prominent anime theme singer. Ichiro sang the theme song of Mazinger Z.

I was seven years old in grade one when this was shown on TV at GMA7 in 1978. I was born in 1971. We bought the rpm single too.

This is a high quality country song better than most of George Strait's hits. And to think that George is the King of Country music in the US and for me , this song instantly elevated itself on top of my country music playlist. a Country song that is written in Japanese language.

Di ko man naabutan to kasi 1994 na ako ipinanganak pero early 2000 ito lagi inaabangan naming magkakapatid. Uuwi galing eskwelahan na nag mamadaluli. Hays ang bilis ng panahon.

I lost my dad last monday. Nothing could've prepared me for it. We didn't see it coming. Whenever I want to remember him and whenever I want to have a good cry to process my grief, I listen to this song. I love my dad so much. I want him to make him proud. I wish he could see me succeed in life but he's gone now. I miss him so much.

Sometimes, we had all the time in the world, but simply did not make most of it. This was my case, I lost my fiance due to drugs and now hopeless incurably insane. He is a Japanese and we can relate to this song. His Mother left him when he was only 2 years old while his real biological father was an unknown Japanese. 😢His Mother was already pregnant when she married her "known father". When he knew the story, he became abusive to his son and led to his rebellion and turning to drugs. This song reminds me of him. He was my true love and still lingers in my mind.😢
