As an Afro Puerto Rican, I traveled from Washington, D.C. to my native New York City to attend and see the National Puerto Rican Day Parade in person. I haven't attended one since the early 90's. It is good being around my people and culture having a good time today on this Sunday, June 12, 2022. I will be hanging out with Puerto Rican relatives from New York City and from Santurce & Carolina, Puerto Rico.

I had some living across the street from me. Very dirty ppl, roach infested house, not a day would go by without one of them borrowing something! One summer day the oldest daughter came over and asked if I had baby powder, I asked for what, since she didn't have a baby at the time, she said "because it's hot and she is sweating" I told her take a shower, she said "nah" just dirty! They acted like their sh/t didn't stink, the father was a bum, always bumming beer off of ppl. Just disgusting ppl.

Very good. God bless our Chicago Puerto Rican American community. But just remember .. this is the Untied States of America - USA. So all these groups Puerto Rican Americans, Mexican Americans, Italian Americans, Irish Americans, Chinese Americans they should all yes, celebrate their own culture but also try to be good Americans. The American/Chicago founding fathers set up a good system, a good form of government., that's why so many immigrant communities came here. Please - don't bash America, don't trash our patriotic holidays like Labor Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas. God bless America. We're not that bad.

You know that puerto rico is part of the United States and we're proud, humble citizens of thus country. Puerto Rico is a very populated island that has a lot of natural disasters every few years and it's not everyone's cup of tea to rebuild their homes every few years. Puerto Rico might be happy to accept all PRs back, but I think we're more happy here. 😊
