My mother would park our car at the Aldis parking lot; my siblings and I would unwrap and eat it on the hood of the car. Watching the pink line and the taste of a dipped beef combo and fries will forever be engraved in my soul.

Worked here for 2 years in the early 70’s when the Western Electric complex was still active across the street. Always a huge lunch crowd. I have to differ with the new owner in that they are not preparing the original Stubbie and Eddie recipe. For starters the beef was cooked in deep pans in a pizza oven. Secondly I can see 2 key ingredients are missing in the recipe. Too bad. It once was the best beef in the area.

Their beef is mediocre at best, as for their service? The people that work there are usually rude AF. My crew and I stopped going there because of the way they treated their customers.

Making the cameraman carry his own bags while riding the pink line? I honestly don’t know how CTA officials let him do that but the host has plenty of room in his car and could’ve offered to let him carry his bags for him!
