Yo just seeing this, but if Shaun fucks with the GD rappers, you GOTTA check out one of the pioneers of the NYC drill scene, particularly in Brooklyn. The GD's are outnumbered like 10 to 1 in NYC so there aren't as many. But 22gz is nice. Got signed to Kodak's label a while back. He was like the rival to Pop Smoke back in those days. Some good music videos worth checking out: Whoopty Freestyle (where he disses CJ the fake blood for his hit song "whoopty" when thats a Brim thing that CJ had no right to claim, let alone to monetize. Suburban part 1 and 2 And if u do suburban part 1 and 2, you should also check out his opp Sheff G who did "No Suburban" part 1 and 2 as diss/response tracks. Sheff G and his Winners Circle team of Sleepy Hallow, Eli Fross, and others make some of the best rap/drill music in NYC, and have for years. Sheff and Sleepy both locked but comin home soon and still release stuff they had in the vault. If ya mans can get past the GD dissing, the MUSIC is amazing. But yeah 22gz is probably the next dude to check out. His music video catalog runs deep despite him being so young. He livin good out in Atlanta because NYC got too hot with cops and opps.
