I fish during sunrise and afternoons. Some people have better luck at night. All my fish are during daylight hours.

I've been going for 7 years in hopes of hooking into a salmon. You turn on a camera and all the fish just run to your lures. Unreal

Hahahaha. It seams that way. I do put in the scouting and casting hours. It takes time and research to catch them. A little luck helps as well.

Are the Salmon in Lake Michigan good to eat? I used to live in Ak and Pacific salmon are really good. I typically go to Erie for walleye but I've considered lake Michigan for salmon. How is the criminal element on the shores around Chicago? Last time I was in Chicago as a teenager back in the 70's I got robbed at gun point just outside the Aquarium.

They can be good to eat. I prefer a coho salmon from Lake Michigan. I've never had any issues while fishing. Im very familiar with my surroundings so I not afraid.
