I remember going down to Marshall Fields and looking at the window displays..

A million times better than what Macys displays!

Marshall Field's had the best displays (State St.)!

Like every other long time Chicagoan, I'm still disgusted that Marshall Fields eventually became a Macy's. Fields was high quality stuff. Their Christmas time mechanical animations were a sight to behold.

Disgusted is the best word. I agree.

The editing done on this video is simply outstanding.

It was a shame to see all the Grand Department Stores go, I cried when Marshall Field was gone.

I like the dolls!

For Pittsburghers this surely brings memories of Jos. Horne Co, and Kaufman's.

beautiful - someone posted a video of christmas windows from herald square in NY and it looks like an giant IPAD display - like a tacky scene from Blade Runner...ugh
