I started commenting about to complain you did a Chicago bbq tour and didn’t hit lems. Glad I held off and gave you the benefit of doubt. Someone who does Chicago food daily I approve of all your choices. It’s hard because there’s some greats.
What I love about going to the southside of Chicago for barbecue is they have these aquarium style made of glass pits for slow cooking the meats!
I lived in Chicago my whole life and i been watching a lot of texas style smoked bbq and i never had it so wanted to see where i could try in Chicago and this video helped me with that! Looking forward to trying some of these places

If it's not an aquarium smoker, it's not Chicago BBQ, is just BBQ in Chicago 😁. Lem's the only Chicago BBQ restaurant here afaik.
Next time you're in Chicago, go to Honey 1 BBQ in Bronzeville. Their rib tips and hot links ae great too, and just like Lem's they use an aquarium smoker.

What about Adam's Ribs ? It's next to the Dearborn Station.I heard that a mobile medical unit in South Korea during the Korean War actually placed a takeout order from them.

Under rated comment, but you're workin' a bit too hip for the room and jokes from the 70s won't hit with those under 50. ;-)
When you come back to Chicago you have to go to Hecky's Barbecue in Evanston a suburb north of Chicago. Hecky's has the best BBQ on the North Shore and it has our 44th President Barack Obama's approval who has gone there for years. Me and my mom have gone there for years and they're always so yummy.
