Thank you! There are a lot of different housing options, but this is the only one downtown. And I have enjoyed my experience, especially this year. It’s a lot better than last year 🫶🏾

Yeah most people have roommates when they live in the apartments. I haven’t heard of anyone having a single personally, but I’m sure it’s available if you really want. And thank you so much, I appreciate it 🥹🫶🏾

My parents went to DePaul and my dad lived at his house because his mom didn't want him living alone. And my mom, I think had a dorm room. They graduated 🎓2005 or 2003.idk 😅

Yes, down town in the loop, is nice and enjoyable, butt some of the people are not nice at all.stay safe.

Yes I worked here, an the loop after, school I would join Construction Cerw, too practice Electrical work, until Engineering degree,Invronment Medicine, Bio Chemistry engineering Bio Phyics, physical science,engineering I have hart problem but it never slow's Me. Thanks

Because of the quarter system. You only stay in the apartment for 10 weeks. Isn’t not worth it then? I’m a incoming transfer. I’m still confused.

For the University Center (the student apartment I lived in last year), you could actually stay in the apartment the entire school year (Sep-June), not just 10 weeks, which is nice

do you think it’s worth it to live in the UC campus apartments rather then finding an off campus option? For the cost and experience. Are there any restrictions? (guests, staying for breaks, etc.)

You can definitely find a place for cheaper closer to Lincoln Park. However, the UC has great 24hr security, you can stay during breaks, and you can have a meal plan within the building. You’re also allowed up to 4 guests per roommate.

I go to Depaul and for it it was definitely worth it to live in campus. It is much closer to classes and the train station. The college experience of having roommates and a dorm was really important to me though. The dorms are very nice to and yes the security is good. It does get a little annoying with room checks but it’s not bad because they only check twice a year. I would definitely say live in Lincoln park for your first year even if you have loop classes. It is easier to feel connected there and the commute isn’t bad. But I guess it all comes down to what aspects are important to you and what you want your college experience to be like. Hope this helps (also if you are looking for dorms Ozanam Hall is the nicest one)

@@imdva yea ofc. I have a friend who lives in University Center and they really like it there. I have visited the apartment and they are pretty nice to. Living downtown is super fun to. I’m currently a sophomore animation major. I live in the sanctuary hall apartments in Lincoln park currently. I’ve stayed in Lincoln park for the convenience and because I don’t mind the train ride to go to classes. I also just like being next to the Ray and the student center and most my friends are in Lincoln park. I’m probably living somewhere in Lincoln park near campus next year. I also know a lot of people like to live in wriggly vill. Although I think living in UC would be super fun. There is definitely a lot to do downtown and if your major is downtown it might even be easier. I think it really depends on where you u feel most comfortable.

Hey girl, I’m so glad this vid helped! I didn’t pick my roommates because I got the housing at the last minute, so I was assigned. But I’m guessing if you wanted to you and your roommate would just pick the same unit to live in on the housing portal. And thank you for your support! 🫶🏾
