It’s sad, because I just graduated middle school, and with that I left all of my 7th grade friends. I miss them already, and it’s only been one day. The last song we played as a jazz band was Seven Nation Army. I loved to play 25 or 6 to 4 with them. But on the bright side I’m going to high school, and reuniting with my 8th grade friends I made in 7th grade. And in my 10th grade year, all of us will be together again. But saying goodbye was so difficult yesterday, we all cried in one big circle. I love my band family.

I am a trumpet player. As a brass man many trombone lines over the years get tossed to me because I can scream on a bone. Now, after reaching 60, the higher register is harder to achieve. I have to do a LOT of physical training. That has put me on a quest to be not only a screech trumpet Maynard kind of guy but a screech trombone man. Your videos have invigorated an old man!!! Training hard, practicing hard, still trying to achieve.

Very interesting to hear both. Gives some insight into the post-processing (sorry, "mixing").
