Chi Sau (Also referred to as "Sticking hands") is in my opinion usually misunderstood and heavily underrated.
In this video I cover the most common misunderstanding of Chi Sau - and also what the entire purpose and strength of Chi Sau really is.
From my experience, Chi Sau allows you to defend yourself from your opponent's attacks, while simultaneously creating striking opportunities for yourself - allowing you to get ahead on timing and into a position of advantage.
