Its ironic that i own this specific spark year as of 2023. Im legit tryna replace the stereo and speakers to be modern

I will say, you won't see a lot of videos of this car, because so many people have problems with them. I had to get a new TCM and that cost me 3 grand.... then a year later my Transmission went out and luckily was covered under the warranty they had for it so it was free, but if I had to replace that... I would have just sold it for scrap... I only paid a lil over 5k back in 2018 for the car and it cost me more than that to repair. If another major issue occurs, it will be gone. Thanks for the video, my front right speaker has been messed up since I got the car and I'm finally gonna fix it.

I own the uk versions of it and i think there amazing ive change the radio and front and rear speakers but as you say there is so little vids out there on them

Hi, what wiring diagram did you use to hook up this stereo? I have been unable to find one for my 2015 Chevy Spark.

I have a 2014 to. I been looking for videos also. I love the car. Been trying to look for videos on the ac heat knobs I broke mine a few months in. Think I turned it to fast. The top two half circles with teeth behind/under the dash I can't figure out how too line them up to switch my vents My wires were off the things too. I managed to do that but every time I change the vents they don't change

I love my car. Its a different looking one on road.

It know it has been a while, but do you know where to run a power wire from the battery to the back of the car, to an amp?

You should have gotten a double din with dedicated gps they’re under $200 would have been an awesome upgrade with a license plate back up camera to go with it.

Hey I think I got the same install kit for my 2015 spark. It came with an odd black box that attaches to the wiring harness and has a micro usb port on it, do you have any idea what that is?

It is possibly to retain some of the onstar features and chimes, I never used any of that and also the chimes are always annoying to me.

Did you have to do anything special for the front covers to fit without coming in contact with the speakers?

No, everything fit perfectly. If you need adapters for any reason, Crutchfield has good information.

How did you wire the radio harness from the aftermarket unit to the cars radio wires? I got a radio today, and I can't fine a harness for it and neither can I find what. wire. is for what online. I have a 2015 Chevy Spark.

I remember I had to tone out each wire. I had continuity on my DMM , then you can mark each wire.

I bought these speakers after watching your video, but i like the origional speakers in de back better, the have a lot more bass, then the Pioneers. Because i don’t want to just don’t use them, i used 1 of the pioneers into the backboard, that makes a hell of a lot of difference combined with the origional

I have a 2007 chevy aveo5 and cant find videos on anyone changing the speakers but i did come across this one, thanks for making it. Its not the same exact car but they are pretty dang similar. So you had the cb radio, kenwood stereo, and scanner all connected to the one antenna?

No I didn't show the CB antenna in this video It was a separate NMO Mount Antenna. Just the scanner and Kenwood were on the same one.

That's a Wrap Fuji XQ1...I haven't done a video on it as I'm not sure I'm going to keep it...it has auto focus issues on video, and some kind of weird anti alising issue where the lines are jagged..also it has a 14min recording limit and doesn't start a new file so you have to pay attention to how long you are recording.

Lol, the compressor and goop ain’t gonna help if ya get a bolt in tire, did the coil actually work for antenna? I hooked my stereo hot, and the amp to a accessory wire from the radio, but after I forget to turn off the radio, and kill the battery, I probably will jack it to the cigarette lighter outlet, thanks, I bought a spare tire n jack off ebay

How did you tap into the stock microphone? I want to do that but I have no idea what wires need to be tapped into. Maybe you could do a video on it? Great video!

Alex Pierce I didn't tap into it, I added the one that came with the stereo, Sadly I do not have this vehicle anymore it was totaled, or else I would make a video :(

Lol no where that I look can I find a guide to removing the face plate from the mylink on my 2014 spark. Did you have a guide you found?

Mine didn't have the my link system, it was the cheapest stereo offering from Chevy. I assume it wouldn't be to much different.

I didn't really use a harness I soldered the wires onto the factory wires. If you are talking about the dash kit that's from amazon Best Kit BKGMK313

Wait, so you haven't had any problems with it but your check engine light is on?

Hunter Monahan That was because the key was in the ignition but the car wasn’t turned on, a lot of cars do that for some reason.

@@Hunter-vy3cq check engine light comes on to tell you to start the engine before you put it in gear when in the run position. so if yours don't do it the light be burnt out

A manual? Wow weird that they still sold it like that in 2014
