The 4.3L is the best sounding V6 GM ever made. They really sound good with a cam.

Stop messing around and put a 5.3 in that.

Strange they have different catalytic converters even though they’re both 2000 models. Cat-less with Flowmaster 40s is the best setup on them IMO

Best sounding V6 ever!

Moons ago I ran a 95 with the non CPI motor in it (cant remember what code engine it was).but had Vortec running down the center of the intake. Had 2.5 straights from a Y pipe into those 3.5 chrome slash cut tips coming out under the curves of back bumper. It trucked really nice and man for years everybody thought I had a V8 in it. Only High RPMS you could tell but got soo many compliments on it.

I ran OBX headers into custom 2” collectors and true duels turned down before the rears . She’s cammed to sounds beast .

Had a blazer 4x4 with a 4.3 in it. Old painless is what I called it. Took it up grey mountain, heckle hill when I was living in Whitehorse. There was some steep inclines I took it up

I have a 5.0 v8 1996 chevy, would it sound the same with just the flowmaster? And for the side exhaust does it have to be straight piped?
