High flow catalytic converter. AEROSPEED 50 Cell. If you can't delete the primaries, try to find high flow one as well.

As a 2015 2.5 Malibu owner with the new generation they went to smaller engines with turbos it really takes away from the loudness even w the muffler delete

i have this same car, i want to get the straight pipe on it but i have no idea where to find one, does anyone know where i could find one

So with just the muffler delete there is noise in the car, then you took the resonator off and it had way less noise in the cab??

If he wants it louder, he needs a cold air intake. He can straight pipe it a million times but if he wants that sound, intake.

Get rid of the downpipe cat. That cat inside the downpipe is crazy heavy. Straight pipe that it opens it up

Sent my buddy to gapplebees with the same car on the 2016 Hyundai Sonata SE 2.4L. I wouldn't try to mod it for performance. Its literally American Volkswagen Passat 1.4T.

How can you get a tip on a car without a bumper cutout? I want to re-do the exhaust on my car but the downpipe is just behind the bumper

Do what I did and skip getting a tip. Looks cleaner factory, it's all about the piping, cats and switching from chambered mufflers to straight through ones, when you want performance and sound.

Needs a high flow 3rd cat. Resonators are find, up front in the piping is where the issues are. Metallic core, 100 cell or less. I got a 2016 Honda Pilot touring 9speed with paddles, 3" mandrel bent, front to back, 2 resonators and a high flow 3rd cat. Naturally aspirated, so it's not quiet as turbo.

He should get high flow cats

it's ok. i just still wonder how GM made our old 89 Turbo TA sound like a V8 though. i think it had at least 3in pipes on it, maybe 3 1/2, most likely well tuned mufflers. so is that all it take to get a V6 to sound like a V8, is just bigger pipes? and would headers help any as well?

The Turbo TA got it's unique sound from the. 3.8L Turbo V6 they used from the Buick Grand National. It's design and unique firing order gives it a non V6 sound. GMs 4.3L can fool people sound wise too since it is basically a small block minus two pistons.

It usually doesn’t go over $200 $300 dollars

2015 model is a lot better has a better engine the newer models are a little less because it’s more fuel efficient

Bang on! Vibrant Resonators are fine, but should be 12" long and 4"-6" body, depending on the pipin size (2 1/4 - 3" reference)

Of course you can. Go to a shop. Tell them you want muffler and resonator cut off replaced with stainless steel pipe. Mske sure they get stainless steel pip to replace muffler n resonator

@@brandongrierson8323 honestly i cant give you exact price, itll take over hour of work. Gotta take all clamps under car off so they can weld stainless steel pipes to take place of exhaust and resonator. Reconnect clamps. Couple hundred easy. Plus you gotta pay for stainless pipe, you need to look up muffler shops and price it out. Find best deal. Might have to drive hour away. You can put kn air filter on yourself , just find utube video on it. Its not hard

@@swiizzie5220 Aerospeed 50 cell cats are the best. Right now I'm using magnaflow 100 cell, just make sure you get mattalic cores, not ceramic
