You're a great teacher and fun to spend time with. Thanks for the effort you put in to these videos , you are great. Thanks.

Jasper products were the go to replacements when I worked at the airport in ground maintenance. The many engines and transmissions I replaced in ground equipment always worked the first time. My 1998 Ford Explorer, from day-one, never down-shifted correctly at speed when trying to pass or enter highway traffic. At 40K miles she started shuttering and my local mechanic recommended a rebuilt Jaspar tranny. That tranny was better than the new one the vehicle came with, and lasted 200K miles before the vehicle was totaled in an accident. Jaspar is quality and better than new in most cases, as they apply updates that may not have existed in the original. I wanted to visit Jaspar in Indiana when we were at the Indy 500 this year, but it didn’t happen. Another great video series Eric O. BTW, you and Mrs. O are quite the archers 😊

No bull if a problem comes up ! If so , take to any GM dealer, they don’t try to fix in house,,,full free replacement ( in writing ) Still should not fail with low K’s,, & not cheap ! Valvoline makes the fluid that goes in those transfer cases in the aftermarket. I know because my 07 Ram has the automatic transfer case in it. That's the fluid the Dodge dealer got me for my truck. It said compatible with GM autotrac on it. I have used Jasper Products also with good results. I got to tour their two facility's in Indiana. They flew five of us down there in their own plane. gave us the tour, fed us breakfast and lunch. Very impressive place.

A couple of years ago my '05 F150 4x4 with 4.6 kt engine & 247k miles decided to retire. Repair estimate was $2800. As I was a salt/rust belter at the time I decided that the repair was too much as the body would not have lived long enough to enjoy the rebuilt engine. Never thought of the Jasper route. Also the Shock absorbers, that year probably has Rancho "off-road" shocks and the previous pickup had Bilstein shocks. Back in the day I upgraded my 1993 to take-off Bilsteins, they gave a softer smoother ride on the Oklahoma roads. I don't have anything to compare on my 2010 Silverado, but it came with the Rancho shocks and it rides real nice.

Eric, just came across your channel recently. I do enjoy a good made up song. I do it all the time when I am fixing or working on something. Drives my teenagers and wife crazy, but oh well I say. Keep up the good videos, and please keep making up songs as you work.
