I honestly love how Chevy hasn't changed much about their vans in so long. Means parts are easy and cheap to find. And plentiful in junkyards.

I, too, like the longevity of the Chevy model. I think I heard you say that 2021 was going to be the last year for production of the NV. Becoming another orphan may mean reduced parts availability for the NV. What is Nissan going to produce in its place? Body on frame or unibody? Same size or smaller? One thing I do like about the competition, and why so many are being built out for vanlife, is the ability to stand up inside them without aftermarket roof modification--available for Express vans, don't know for NVs.

We have an NV. We removed the back row and shifted the middle two rows back a little, so there is tons of leg room. We only have 4 people riding in the back, so it works great. I also like the engine being out in front of me instead of next to me.

I don’t understand the NV. They make a van based on the Titan (a good looking truck) Then spend the time and money to reengineer the front to be butt ugly. Imagine that van with the Titan front, then lifted and 4x4. Itd be awesome! Wonder if the bodywork could be swapped.

You dont build vans better, just more expensive and not well though out. 3.5 inch blocks are not a 5 inch lift and even after the Bronco Skyjacker coils that sag not rated for econolines and you remove the sway bar so you sway and you bend the I beams plus your double doughnut radius arms are crap. Action van suspension is a better product and better price. For Chevrolet vans, i recommend Boulder Off Road.. save 2k and get 5 to 6 in with Action Van Suspension and a steering stabilizer, too. Plus, Action Van sits higher, rides better because of actual custom coils, and retains geometry. They also do 4x4 conversions.
