Flow fx for the win have a flow fx muffler on my vehicle I love the sound

flowmaster flowfx’s sound so good on almost any car/truck!

Had a muffler delete on my Camaro and then decided to just make a bit quieter, I thought the flowmaster fx’s would do the job but holy they silenced the exaust way too much almost sounded like a 4 cylinder so I decided to go back to a muffler delete

@@johnnyboi6342 Is your camaro a 6? I'm trying to decide on these for my muffler delete but I was thinking they wouldn't muffle the sound enough. In this video they are pretty loud.

@@Dnasty1 I mean based on changing the muffler delete with the fx’s, I believe it quieted it way too much, I think it was even quieter than when it was stock, though I did gain a bit more torque than when. Did the muffy delete

I got a FlowFX cat back system on my 18 Titan 5.6L. I love the low RPM noise, idle soft rumble and no drone at all, but at a high RPMs it gets kind of raspy. So I recently just picked up a Borla S-Type True dual system to put on but I haven't got it on yet, I'll let you know

I'm considering a Flow FX for my Camaro. I love the sound in this video, but I'd be running fully stock setup. How much difference does the X-pipe and resonator delete make for the overall volume of sound? I'm hoping that my car won't be too much quieter than the setup in this vid.

Sounds clean but headers go a long way on these cars, changed mine dramatically

That color was red rock metallic, same as mine, with the 4 factory cats LS3's aren't gonna be very loud. Imo H pipe is louder and sounds better than X pipe though it doesn't scavenge as well.

Are these secondary cats on these cars more restrictive than a vibrant bottle resonator?

Corsa especially on the ZL1 if your planning for loud and power

As others have said, the Borla ATAK is pretty quiet. I almost question if something's wrong with them or if it's actually the S-Type/Touring, considering FlowFX is a packed muffler.

If you drive a camaro you need high flow cats. Headers too if you have the money. Felt the same way about my borla before I broke them in and put SOLO HFC

I agree. This atak setup seems much more quiet than even the borla s. I’ve heard them quiet on other cars as well and I’m not sure what the cause is. Are they placed backwards?

What's the difference between the flowmaster 71416 and 71799?

Flowmaster FX and they were probably 1/3 the price of the Borlas my 2011 Camaro SS has longtube headers cat deleted with a 3 inch X pipe and Flowmaster FX mufflers to me it sounds perfect

I really like the flow fx sound but didn't want too much volume just that deep burbly growl. If I ran dual flow fx at my mid section and then 2 at the muffler would I get a nice grown around 95s max?

Flow Master is way better and louder, though I would need the cutoffs, because i Live in Los Angeles 👦🏻👍🏻🏎️🏁 good job on the welds

The borla was a snoozer. Flowmaster was 🎉

I mean I’d rather have one straight piped but if I had to choose one of these I’d go with the flowmaster. Borla is way too quite in my opinion.

It is a toss up for me. They both sound good without the rasp. Expected the Borla to be a little louder though. The FlowFX has a bit of a deeper tone and is a tad louder. The cold air intake helps with that too. Edit: A h or x pipe does not "take the scavenge away" like he said. It increases scavenging and equalizes the pulses between the engine banks to improve flow, sound, horsepower and torque

I typically like Borla, but that sounded like a baby kitten. Flo M set up was much better, but got to say, nothing sounds like the coyote motor.

The flowmaster sounded way better
