Just looked at a different video the only difference was that he used the lower valve as a flow and the top as a return for the anti freeze. I reckon it realy makes no big difference it will work both ways . Thanks for the clear explanation. Just had to fill our system after 8 years the pressure had gone to zero . There where some connections on my system that had sweated over the years you could see the green and black build up on the connections . I guess the installer had not tightened it enough because I could tighten it a bit more . Just got a cheap water pump with a maximum out put of 3 ato and a plastic drum of anti freeze. It worked perfect the pump is silent again

What pressure should this system have reading on the clock when you close both filling taps

If your using a proper fill flush pumping unit it could finish up at 4 or 5 bar you den have to release the pressure Generally speaking 2bar and have the expansion vessel 0.3 bar lower than the set pressure 2 bar .Both temperature gauge need to be turns to 45 degrees to fill flush the system and then return them to vertical when finishs this gentleman has did a very poor job of describing how to service fill a solar system

Please don´t use automatic air vents on solar...

King span solar system never came with an automatic air vent this gentleman doesn't have much knowledge of this systems
