The 4.8L Vortec 4800 L20 (and it's predecessor) doesn't have AFM either and was available until 2013 in the Silverado. It's a great engine (with poor gas mileage tbh lol), I have it in my 2012 Silverado 1500.

@@tacticalidiot175 never looked but acts like 3.42s. I live in a flat corner of Iowa and the speed limit is 55. Now if I was doing a bunch of interstate driving or pulling big hills all the time it would be more a long the lines of 15-17. But my average on our highways on a good day is usually 18-19, 21 is the best I've averaged between where I live and the next town over and back.

@@santinoeli71506 it's still a silverado, it was the truck that pushed limits and that's why the name plate is used today to remind us of the 1st time it was used or in other words the first generation that lasted 24 years. Longer than the current truck
