RAM ALL DAY. bit comparing a Express trim to an LTZ trim that's not cool. The LTZ is a way higher trim level and costs alot more.

Compare similar trims next time. The new Rams in higher trims have the best interiors and this is the old body style for Ram. The 6.2 engine only comes in higher trims, the base trim gets a 5.3. I get that this might be all thats on offer currently but you didnt really preface that properly.

How about comparing similar spec models next time. The Laramie would be an equal comparison to the Chev. This one is heavily weighed in favour of the Chev.

Dumbest review ever. Comparing an old body style ram to a new gen Silverado. Guy gets inside Chevy and says it feels more new. No shit Sherlock. Not gonna be saying that once he gets inside the current gen rams. Lol

Compare Laramie next time.

With a $30k difference, logic says you'd take the RAM every single time. Same situation as Patrol V LC200; $30k buys you 20,000 litres of fuel. No mainstream car buyer has a budget that doesn't want to keep thirty grand in the bank.

Very common in my circles

For American, these are "normal" pick-up trucks. For the rest of the world, these are very big pick-up trucks.

Im struggling to afford the RAM 1500 Express. Forget anything more expensive. Particularly because I probably need a second car for city driving. I want the large tub with the double cab and relative comfort. Everyone assumes you would do heavy towing with these but that's not the only reason. I'd only be doing heavy towing a few times a year. But the convience of that 2m tub is important.

100 kilo payload for driver and passenger ? Did he do any homework, specs say 748kg. And he dented the rear bumper hooking up. Doesn’t get my vote of confidence this guy

Right, now take of 450kg for the downball weight and then calculate whether or not payload was given with a full tank of fuel or just the usual standard of ten liters. Then subtract around 180 kgs for two strapping lads and bingo, without a bull bar or roof rack in sight, you’re already just shy of your max payload by about 100kg. So as useless as this mung bean seems, he is on point with his numbers.

This whole steering wheel on the right side of the truck and driving on the left side of the road is throwing me off

That looks like a 10 year old Ram model...

It's the classic model which is still being made alongside the new shape.

How ridiculous, this is like comparing apples and oranges. If you'd have compared the RAM laramie with Ram Boxes against the Chevy, then you'd have came to the conclusion the RAM is more comfortable, better value, better on fuel and more user friendly.

Absolute beautiful trucks, but for the price I’d just buy a Toyota hilux that does the same shit for cheaper, of course nothing substitutes the V8

What a bullshit comparo...shame, shame, shame (sorry Derry). So you’re taking a bottom of the range Ram and comparing it to a $24K more expensive Chev - just don’t...don’t! If you want to be seen as impartial, this isn’t the way to do it!

Was this a paid promotion for Chevrolet? This is the problem with the internet, people can just upload any rubbish. Talk about damage the Carsales brand
