It’s amazing how many people don’t actually understand the performance benefit of larger braking systems. They don’t actually decrease your stopping distance after using them once because the limiting factor there is your tire grip on the road, not your brakes. Even the stock brakes can break the tires loose. The advantage of larger braking systems is that they take much longer to overheat than stock brakes after repeated hard braking..i.e. they maintain their function for longer before they become heat-soaked and ineffective. On a truck, I can only see this being useful while trailering down a long, winding descent in Colorado.

Had these on my 2018 LTZ 6.2l and they are great 👍. The pads are extremely expensive and no aftermarket pad exists. My 18 got totaled in a rear-ended collision and I'm going to miss it. Should have ordered these for my 2022 refreshed Trailboss.

You can contact Brembo and give them the P/N of the calipers for a list of P/N's of pads you can use on them. I like to use EBC pads as they work 5-10x better than even the factory Brembo pads and they don't leave any nasty brake dust after a little use. Honestly thinking of doing this upgrade to my 19 GMC Sierra Denali. The 6.2L has good power but I'd like a little more stopping force just in case.

Performance Never goes out of style! They should have oversized 4 piston rears also. I have to buy my parts used online! I really save this way. The only other part to this is very rarely do I see a rear sway bar on any of the Chevys. I have one in the front one behind the front, one in the front of the rear, and one in the rear of the rear. The ride quality is a little firmer but it is planted! Next is a lot of frame and steering bracing!

If you want data, look into the GM specs on their actual website (literally just looked it up). It tells you the data improvements over stock along with the kit specs. The data/research has already been done since before these parts were even available to the public.

The dealership installed these factory ordered Brembo brakes and now the spare tire doesn't fit the fronts and the brakelife sensors no longer work as well. The Brembo brakes themselves work much better than the factory brakes and you don't have to push down on the brake pedal nearly as hard. Perhaps there is a fix to both these issues.

I have them on an Escalade ESV that sees a lot of spirited driving. The dealer did pads at 40k miles and, against my better judgment, turned the rotors. The first time I braked hard from 100+, they developed a vibration that came back any time I braked hard at speeds over 80 mph and eventually - 30000 miles later - became pervasive under any amount of braking at any speed over 70. Rotors did not appear to have any cracks so I’m guessing machining them lead to warping and perhaps microscopic cracks. Just replaced the pads and rotors with aftermarket (DFC) to see if they hold up any better. The pad bedding experience was great and the butt dyno suggests even better performance than the Brembo pads. Machining rotors is an enormous no-no in my book, but seems to be extra problematic with the Brembo kit. Try replacing your rotors.

Where was the “testing”? All he did was tell us what we could have read in the item description. If I was to guess, this is because there about zero difference in stopping distance. All your difference is going to be in pedal feel, and not overheating the brakes as easily under extreme conditions. Which isn’t a bad thing, but jeez you could’ve run SOME kind of real world testing.
