All the other shops had it for a week and then told me they couldn't find the problem. I dropped it of yesterday and now you say it is done. Is this a wind up?" Way to go Mr. O. At the beginning you said the owner wasn't the best communicator, now he has his trust in mechanics restored he may be a bit easier.

Eric, nice job on that wire. We in the HVAC & R and Commercial Cooking repair trade go through a lot of the same, tracing down missing neutral wires, in your case grounds, chaffed wires shunted to ground giving erroneous readings and the like. Some of the ovens we work on cost as much as a BMW 3 & 4 series, so the customers get a bit mouthy if we don't find the problems on the initial visit/diagnosis. I like the way you never give up, when others would. I look forward to the rest of this/these video(s) on this job. So many times a single shunt or open wire can cause a multitude of faults. Good job!

YES !!!!! Finally a video that is more than 5 minutes to fix the problem !!!! And this one is a MULTI problem fix !!! Went thru a big cup of Krups machine of McDonalds coffee insert, and it tasted great with some chocolate wafers to compliment it !!! Our (yes, our - you are not the only one diagnosing the problem) sleuthing is going along nicely and uncovering bad things that have happened over time !!!! I saw Mrs.O.'s heart lovingly melt when you said the only mistake you never made was marring her - priceless !!!! A bad wire so far, gonna fix that. Then on to the other codes and more sleuthing again. Can't wait for part two !!! Going to fill the Krups water tank because it will take at least two cups of coffee and a few Dunkin Donuts of white cream, blueberry, and jelly fillings to get this vehicle all repaired and an inspection sticker slapped on !!!!!!!!!! 🤪🤨😵‍💫😤👍

Good job as always. I have a 16 Malibu with the same engine and submodel so if I come across the same codes I'll know where to look. Thanks for all the good content.

Good Job. I took an hour video plus behind the scene time to solve this pressure sensor issue. Finding a broken wire is not an easy job with all these wires and wire harnesses. Thank you to share this job work, information and experience. One more thing please, how did you fix that broken wire ????

I've inherited a GMC Sonoma with the 2.2 5 speed and it has 200,000 + and people have told me that I was going to have all kinds of engine problems but have had none so far and I drive from Mississippi to Texas all the time . I have had really good experiences with GM products thru out my driving days

Eric, at 25:00 I have my guess made: I think it is a high resistance (of some ohmic value) when everything is hooked up, between the senor and the PCM, the majority of the 5 volts is dropped across this high R. I'll wait and see what happens.
