Colorado is so bad that you can barely find one at the dealer. They keep selling out.
I have one and I have no issues for over a year now you’re just a brand hater
every brand has its problems ...your hate for chev is obvious

Exactly 👍🏼
This video is a hack job. Absolutely love my 2023 Colorado. The negative bias in this video is obvious.
Lack of knowledge in this video is hilarious. Putting the Colorado down for using leaf springs in the rear, which for years were used due to better load capacity and towing stability, and then says it should have independent rear suspension like other competitors ?? All midsize trucks have a solid rear axle - some use coil springs instead of leafs - get your facts straight. The Ridgeline has independent but is not really considered a true midsize truck like the Colorado, Frontier, Tacoma, Canyon, and Gladiator.
No one buys a truck for its smooth ride, that is what luxury cars are for.
In to the 2nd year of the new platform refresh and I’ve followed it closely since before launch, this is the first video content I’ve ever run across that pans it so hard and biased. There’s actually a number of statements you make that aren’t factual. Claiming the Tacoma is cheaper and somehow on par with the Canyon is BS. Anyone can see this by going and doing a buildout with comparable equipment and they’ll find the Tacoma is actually more expensive. Its base model is cheaper but also the base model Colorado/Canyon comes with way more tech. If you’re going to compare then compare apples to apples! As for the leaf springs it’s why the platform has class leading tow and haul capacity. This entire video is misleading garbage or utter ignorance due to lack of diligence in research.
Doesn't sound anything like the awesome 2023 LT that I drive everyday!
Being an owner of a 2020 and a 2023 Colorado Z71, I would have to disagree with your assessment of the new one. The new Z71 rides much smother than the out dated model. The interior is waaay better than the previous gen also. And if your not going to do a lot of off roading, then don't buy the ZR2. Which isn't that much stiffer than the Z71. How do I know? Because my son just bought a new ZR2 and we compared them to each other.
It sure shows that you've never driven a ZR2 in your life. It's is one of the best riding midsized trucks out there right now. You might want to check a true vehicle review channel like Motor Trend. See how the Colorado Stacked up against the competition. Leaf springs? Readon why the Colorado has a highest tow rating of all midsized trucks. 7000 lbs towing capacity!!! Sorry to say, but your videos are biased and not grounded on facts. Pure hate being spread in here.
I just bought a 24 Colorado. Traded in a 19 Ranger. The Colorado does almost everything better than the Ranger. I know - it's 5 years newer... Very happy with my purchase.
Talk about Misinformation! OK we get it, You hate GM products! Now run along and go play with Toyota crap!
Collision avoidance and automatic braking is extremely dangerous no matter what vehicle it’s on
i own 2 trucks 2017 LT and 2020 z71 v6 No issue I love them
Interesting, as I have a 2023 Colorado ZR2 with no issues & ZERO recalls.
Toyota complaints for the Tocoma for years used leaf springs and now coil springs! So Chevy uses leaf springs and now you fault them still using leaf springs. Toyota owners were happy with the basic V6 and now turbo 4 cyl.! Ford Ranger and Bronco major recalls. Jeep brings out the Gladiator poor fuel mileage and manual tranny problems. There is no perfect pickup! They all have ups and downs!!! With all the new software added and hybrid more and more problems arise. Try complaining instead about fuel prices and high Interest rates!!!!
This is laughable. I own one, and yes any new car has its issues, but the ride quality of the ZR2 is incredible honestly. Anyone that has been inside it has been blown away by the interior design and quality. Stereo is excellent etc. My only actual complaint would be gas mileage - if I cared
Im still gonna get one
I own a '23 ZR2 and you suspension comments are FOS. Thing rides like a dream on the hwy. I did come from a Turbo'd FRS with tuned race/autox suspension, but if the tires are properly adj with air pressure it handles great.
I got a 2023 Colorado LT and I love it,Drives smooth ,I have no complaints so far.Ya they could have used better upgrades ,But then it wouldnt have cost me 40000.
This guy is so technical. A “jacked up version” is something he actually said. 😂
I traded in my Ford Maverick for a Chevy Zr2, and I love both trucks. The Maverick had a lot of teething issues, but I still loved that truck, and didnt regret any recall I had to get serviced.
my Colorado has been in the shop for 2 weeks now ugh...
I’m not a fan of General Motors as a company becuase of how they handle their business and their lacking in customer care and service. However! I did buy a 2024 Colorado WT to meet my work and family needs on somewhat of a budget. I personally think as far as looks go, this trucks knocks it out of the park. Build quality, so far is pretty good! It’s a solid truck. The ride and handling are great both in town, in a field and on the highway! The turning radius is phenomenal in 2wd. The ground clearance is a major plus, because after all, ITS A TRUCK! And as such, I don’t need a bunch of higher grade soft touch materials. So far with 1100 miles on it I maintain 21.5 mpg, which isn’t terrible. My kids have plenty of room in the back for road trips and on our 8 hour round trip, none of us were fatigued by the truck. I enjoyed the drive actually. My o oh complaint is with some quirks in the infotainment system and its handoff with wireless (and wired) CarPlay to other phones. The wifi works well though! This video is irresponsible. Do your research and have factual evidence before you slam a vehicle like this.
And this is why I have numerous dealerships ensuing me and calling me trying to buy my '22 Colorado ZR2.... Oh, and I can change from low beams to high beams without having to go through the infotainment system (same with fog lights off I had them) 😂😂 Poor build quality, $15k price increase SMH! Rust spots: I had a '24 Silverado as a loaner vehicle for 3 weeks. It had 800 miles on it and the bed was already showing rust spots SMH! They should've offered the Duramax engine in this model.
Ok read this in my best fake deep voiceover like this guy. What’s he talking about? I’ve had my Colorado for a year. Not one issue. No recalls no stop sales. No build quality issues. Runs great. There was a stop sale for less than a month, which was corrected quickly. This guy just hates this vehicle.

I'm happy for you that you have no issues. I know someone that works at the Assembly plant in wentzville and he says they have a lot more pulled backs that they can't even give to dealers to fix that they have to fix at the plant because of the build quality. He told me not to buy one yet until they get everything ironed out.
It’s a truck, yea you’re gonna feel every bump and pothole.
Obviously anti-GM...I ordered a '23 AT4 Canyon and took delivery of a '24 in March. Yeah, Quality Control 'stop-sale', UAW strike, Infotainment System software rewrites aside, I have a fantastic truck. It sits 2 inches higher than my '17 Colorado ZR2 - so what, I LIKE IT. The 2.7 TurboMax is stout and has scoot, but I do miss the V6, as my MPG towing my small 3,000# travel trailer dropped from 14.3 to 12.2 @ 65 MPH. Slowing to 55 MPH gives me those 2 MPG back, if I want to be frugal and get to my destination a little later. The Canyon's interior and front-end styling are MUCH better than the Colorado, which is why I coughed up about $3,000 more. And rust???--please do another video showing these corrosion issues on a one-year-old vehicle - I'd love to see some proof. And the new Tacoma's interior just looks army tank ugly.
Not to mention the CRACKED blocks in some but very few ,also worth mentioning that it has a 80s HOOD PROP instead of shocks
How are the Tacoma and ranger nicer inside? All 3 of them are made from hard scratchy plastic and the Tacoma and ranger look 10’years old already.
I’m in the market for a mid size 4WD, been a Toyota truck guy for nearly 4+ decades. It’s now 2024 and Toyota trucks are crap, and my loyalty is moving elsewhere. Chevy to me with the 2.7Turbo max with a heavy duty transmission will blow away any Toyota turbo trucks in reliability today. It’s obvious that this guy is paid by Ford to talk trash.
Where are the rust spots that you speak of?
Independent rear suspension on a truck? You honestly don't know what you're talking about. Now leaf spring vs 5 link is a different story.. but both are still solid axles. Trucks like the Honda pilot have IRS but they have the least weight capacity and the worst off road characteristics.
Tacoma Not good anymore, not only overpriced up to $10.000 but lots of negativity They cant compete longer, they are in financial problem Now listen the professional driving for 5 decades all the midsize trucks IIIIIIIIIIIIts TIME ZR2 the BEST Z71 GREAT TRAIL BOSS LOVELY and each one of them REASONABLE PRICE
What B.S. I have 45k on mine with lots of off roaring & 4x4ing and I have no issues. It is ovious your dislike for the brand of whatever is your agenda! Look at tacomas braking in half the just for starters!
False !!
I'm not loyal to any one brand, I only care about real life experience and facts. Not a fan of blown out of proportion nit picks. I agree leaf springs on Trail Boss, Z71, and ZR2 should have been updated to multi-link rear, but it isn't the end of the world. Ranger Raptor is the only Ranger without leaf springs. Tacoma just lost leaf springs, and people worship that thing. XLT and Lariat FX4 Ranger has leaf springs. You don't even get push to start button until Lariat trim for Ranger 😂. Credit where credit is due, Colorado is the only mid-size truck being priced accordingly and actually being sold at MSRP. Toyota over there with $5k-$10k markups. The Chevy Turbomax also puts out nearly the same power as the new Tacoma's hybrid motor without sacrificing cargo room and payload to batteries. It's more than obvious auto reviewers were likely given instruction by Toyota to only compare TRD Offroad to the Trail Boss and TRD Pro to the ZR2 Bison. Can't have them comparing TRD Offroad to base ZR2, even though they're both between $46k-$49k.
This is cute..now let's talk about TOYOTA and their garbage engine recall...
This is 100% rage bait intended to get you to write a comment. Which I just did, but I feel like most of the commenters here haven’t figured out that 90% of the shit on the internet that makes you angry is intended to make you angry so that you’ll interact with it, which makes the creator more money.
Man, someone sure hates Chevy.
I'd prefer the Canyon
mi colorado lt 2023 está en el taller desde hace 5 meses y nada más no la componen GMC es una mierda. Tiene todos los problemas y no me dan solución
GM poor leaderships from ceo Mary Barra failure listed gm loyal customers who love gm products from 2.7 engine turbo is joke it reminds me old chevrolet vega worst vehicle put together with 2.3 engine worst gm put together. Like middle screen tech lights, everything else in middle screen like back 80's Oldsmobile, Buick and Cadillac customers didn't like .
I just got a Nissan frontier pro 4by 4 oh it has a V6 Not a4 banger
Chevy’s are nice if you’re only going to keep it a couple years because once they hit 60k miles they turn into garbage

I had my last chevy for 17 years with NO recalls and only oil changes
On had 2 recalls
Gm is incapable of building anything that isn’t a maintenance nightmare
This video is total misinformation. I encourage readers to thoroughly research the Colorado and Canyon. The third generation isn’t perfect, but in many respects its best in class vs competitors offerings.
Did this guy do any research before making this video?
You obviously have a generally negative view of Chevrolet.
🧢
A lot of bullshit here
He had some points.
I feel dumber watching this garbage and I dont own a GM product. Maybe this page needs to take up a new job
Lies
This was suppose to be an informative content but turns out to be an antichevy video. Its so obvious how you dislike chevrolet. Maybe your from other competitors trying to boost sales😂
How are the Tacoma and ranger nicer inside? All 3 of them are made from hard scratchy plastic and the Tacoma and ranger look 10’years old already.
