That jail is a disgrace. How does an inmate just climb out with little to no effort. As usual they will fire the deputy who was working the tower just to make an example. It always the lower level employees who get the ‘boot’ and the executive staff are shuffled around and given different jobs. This is the way of the law enforcement community.

How is the prison a disgrace?? You act like he’s the first or last person to escape from a prison.

So the only person out is the tower guard. WOW! Shouldn’t the person who approved the so called fix to the last escape be suspended as well? Why is the tower guard who has to search a full 360 degrees out on suspension ONLY?

I believe he jumped a train trolley days ago..as far as the tower guard..unless they can prove he turned a blind eye.. what do they expect? The guard only has 2 eyes..a large yard and several inmates to watch.. instead of throwing the guard off the job..how about addressing the real problem: design flaws with the prison yard itself

I don’t believe the tower guard is at fault here. They had a prisoner escape 4 months ago and didn’t FIX the problem, chicken wire isn’t the answer. But Now they want to fix the escape route? You are supposed to have people monitoring these prisoners via cameras, but he’s not commenting on that. So to put the blame on the tower guard is not right IMO our prison system isn’t updated for these escapes to NOT happen repeatedly. Fix the problem not blame one person that had zero control over fixing that route.

He got into two houses and got food which means he was in a kitche. What else do you think he might have taken from a kitchen. A butcher knife?. He stabbed his girlfriend like 30 times. Im pretty sure he is armed by now. He has to have someone who was waiting on the outside. I hope hes long gone to Mexico by now. I will be sleeping in a completely dark house with things in front of the doors that would wake me and then I will have my can of Oven Spray ready. He won't know where I am but I can guarantee you he will be lying on my living room or on my kitchen floor. I hope he breaks into a house with pittbulls. By now he has probably been able to dye his hair, completely change his appearance and blend in.

LMFAO this is absolutely humiliating for chester county and the PA state police. Every press conference has been nothing but excuses and bravado that amounts to NOTHING.

I drove in that area where the roads were shut down. Pennsylvania state troopers were all over the place. I had to go up 202 to 926 to deliver to Brandywine Ace Hardware on Pocopson Road. The school across was shut down with a trooper at the entrance.

Exactly I had to go from Lancaster to 52 right outside of West Chester and cops everywhere I was on Parkerville Rd and after I passed the first cop I stopped and asked the second cop if I needed to stop I startled the cop he was playing on his phone the escapee could’ve walked 50 feet in front of this cop crossing the road and went unseen.

Why no electronic motion detection alarm system for prison perimeter and within prison complex?disgusting and deplorable.

Counts are done at specific times through out the day/night with most of them being at night due to most escapes are at night. I can only speak of the prison I worked at over 20 years ago; the counts were not conducted during the day at all. The reason being is there is so much inmate movement during the day (sick call, medical appointments, medical trips, education, law library, meals, etc.). The HUGE problem with this specific escape is the fact this inmate was able to easily get over the razor wire. I can tell you for a fact the razor wire at the place I worked at well over 2 decades ago has so much razor wire that if an inmate even made an attempt he would bleed out before he made it over the fence(s). There are also tower guards, a few roving patrol vehicles and a motion sensor fence (an alarm would go off if the fence moved). So I am shocked this inmate in this case was so easy for him to escape.

An embarrassment to the taxpayers. Two escapes from the same prison in less than a year, hundreds of police and no results in two weeks! I can’t imagine the cost of this manhunt

Raise funds to increase the prize. Do you remember I think it was in Florida a difficult escapee and they hire the famous bountyman to get him.

I'm surprised he's not jumping trains, sounds, looks like he'd be good at it 😯

This happened in the first 18 hours of this Warden taking the job He's brand new. Not his fault. This illegal scum has help from both inside and outside the prison. It's starting to become very clear. There was an inmate lookout for him to stop any other inmate from stopping this guy from scaling the wall The expanded video you can see it.

I don't think they should have fired the tower guard & I feel bad for him. Especially, because the Warden never fixed the roof opening after the first convict escaped back in May. The guard can't spin his head 360° & shouldn't be solely responsible. This man had worked there for years & now, he's lost his pension because people want to shift blame!! The Warden wasn't fired & he's able to apply for another position because HIS record wasn't blemished unlike the Tower Guard. The Warden hasn't been fired or lost his pension even though he was the main person who would be responsible for fixing the roof opening, after the first prisoner escaped. It's just not fair imo & I don't believe he knew anything about it & he didn't just allow Danelo Cavalcante escape. Shift blaming here & it's sad! These cops aren't being fired for the miscommunication regarding the van logo or saying it wasn't him after looking at the Ring Doorbell photos!! That mistake alone allowed Cavalcante to get even further away!!

The officer doesn't even know the surrounding roads😂😂 921 oh yea sorry 926. Lol this department is a traveling clown show.😂🤡🎂🤡😆.

Gonzalo Lopez in Texas was out 3 weeks after escaping prison. Hopefully they get this crazy killer soon and his fate is the same as Lopez.
