Let's learn chest radiograph anatomy. I use a chest x-ray alongside a CT chest to show you how to identify structures on a chest radiograph.
Identify the airways, hila, mediastinal structures/ borders, lung lobes, diaphragms, pleura and bones.
Knowing this anatomy is fundamental for both exams and clinical practice.

Not sure if the question banks are for you?
If you're here, you're likely studying for a radiology physics exam. I've spent the last few months collating past papers from multiple different countries selecting the most commonly asked questions. You'll be surprised how often questions repeat themselves!
The types of questions asked in FRCR, RANZCR AIT, ARRT, FC Rad Diag (SA), ABR qualifying Core Physics and MICR part 1 are surprisingly similar and the key concepts remain the same throughout. I've taken the most high-yield questions and answered them in video format so that I can take you through why certain answers are correct and others are not.
Happy studying,
Michael

The amount of anatomical information is always underestimated on a CXR. But as always you cover it and explain it so well, correlating this with the CT was particularly useful. Another top top quality video, has to be said. Thank you!

Great video, and channel, i am planning to see all of them can anybody tell me a method for accessing DICOM files from MRI scans from different parts of the body for free?
If "prominent pulmonary arteries" and "increased pulmonary vascularity" come up on a chest x-ray report, does that mean there is a high likelihood of PAH? Can the pulmonary arteries be more prominent on someone's x-ray without it being an issue?
Give me of your app please
