I don't know how it's done now, but DougDoug Clips started as a fan channel and was later introduced into the DougDoug family or whatever. So it could be that the person who originally made the account is the one who makes the clips, and decided to have this match be on KZread.

The difference is, sans doesnt just immediately heal you to above full hp immediately after his first move

I was NOT emotionally prepared for Napoleon to wipe out half of the enemy team, evolve all his pawns at once, rotate the entire game, fuse two of his pieces, and full rez the board, only to lose everything, but I guess Napoleon is just that much of a tactical genius.

The Calavier has the ability to move like a rook AND hop over pieces like a knight, meaning he could have moved it to kill Twitch Chat's Rook THUS making this a check and not a checkmate, which means Chat *cheated* in this normally *fair and not rigged* chess match.

It depends on what the rules on the Cavalier are, which since it was made up and Doug said it doesn't put them in check means it doesn't. IIRC he said it can leap over pieces but not take them, which would mean it cannot take a piece like that.

@@yondev Alternate move, Napolean established earlier in the game @9:20 that he can hit single squares with artillery. Fire any cannon to obliterate the Rook. It's worth possibly missing and hitting their King as the King is dead either way.

Doug, napoleon still had a move right there. When he had explained how his Cuirassiers worked he said they could jump over pieces meaning he could have had one of them take the rook attacking his king, getting him out of check

It's crazy how turn 1 Napoleon took literally half of Chat's pieces and still lost.

Technically, Napoleon wasn’t in check mate because the french horse could have captured the rook :)

Napoleon _was_ in checkmate. Catching that rook doesn't escape check because it puts the king in range of the nearby pawn instead. Meanwhile, catching said pawn to escape the rook puts the king in line of that bishop. Napoleon "Master Strategist" Bonaparte blew it again.

Actually, Napoleon's King was not in checkmate at the end, due to the fact that the Cuirassiers were specified to be able to jump over pieces at 5:38 , ergo, the Cuirassier on f1 should have been able to jump over the king to capture the rook which was just placed on h1 Truly, this is what rigged means.
