Actually before, king used to like the bishop and hated the rook. But when the rooks helped the white king checkmate black king, he started liking rooks and hated bishops because the bishops alone never checkmated any king.

The first episode I've seen was episode about en passant. I was so impressed that I started from episode 1 and watched every single episode. Style changed until it settled into the current best of options.

GUYS I HAVE A CRAZY THEORY. In episode 95 rook and knight escaped from chessboard and met "villain bishop" who said "Knights time ended a long time ago. We don't use knights anymore. You can play with what we call Wotan - a king killer made of tons of knights' metal". So here is my theory: "villain bishop" won't wipe kings but he will change their favourite piece into machine that is supposed to kill them. Please like, so more people know about it.

These series have more lore than any of us would have thought or known for a long time and this makes me really excited for the next few episodes

THEORY TIME!!!!: In episode 69, when the bishops say: "We live together, we will die together, because both of us are bishop, the colors doesn't matter" there are 2 possible things: 1.- That was a ritual where the bishop changed bodies/colors. 2.-After the match, the white bishop turned into a black bishop The point is that the white bishop from episodes 51 and 69 are the same, and changed colors after that, turning himself into the black ad bishop PD: My theory makes more sense with the ad bishop reply to the white king question "We are all bishops, the color does not matter"
