Considering all the educational chess channels I watch, I want to say this is an unusually good, clear, well-written video. Basic concepts and tips that will actually help people and are easy to understand. Very well done.

Go to Anna Cremling's channel of you want to actually learn about chess on not just watch pretty girls play chess. She does the best just of any KZread channel. She is kind of cute too even if her voice can be a bit much.

@@toriless I find your comment rude and disrespectful. Also presumptuous about a person you don't know. What they look like has nothing to do with the quality of content, or why I'm here. This is not primarily an educational chess channel, so of course I wouldn't come here specifically to learn about chess. But as an educator, writer and video creator myself, this is a good educational video all the same. I'm qualified to say so. If I wanted to learn about Chess on YT, I'd go to one of the four educationally-focused chess channels I'm already subscribed to, irrespective of whatever the presenter looks like.

Thanks for this - your explanations are easy to follow, would watch more tuts
Well said, Alex! One thing I'll add to the opposition section: if you're up a pawn, THINK before pushing the pawn! Because with one move, the opponent can take back the opposition. In general, if you can make a move that forces the two kings to be one rank apart, do it. And don't push the pawn until you know you have the opposition and can keep it :)

Center your king, the opposite of openings and middle games.
Love this type of format for learning Chess concepts. More of These Please!!! 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽 Sometimes I just don't have the energy to sit through a whole 40 minute explanation of a game.
I’d love to see end games 2 that continues exploring the topic!
I want more of that! You are such a great teacher
Ive never heard about that pawn chase square before. I really struggle with visualization and tips like that feel like stumbling onto ancient treasure.

Excellent video! Thanks for the lesson. I look forward to more.
That was really good! Keep ‘em coming!
Very well done and highly appreciated for the way that you presented each tip, very simple and precise. This will help me to to teach and explain to some of my friends who are beginners about endgames and certain strategies. Thank you for a very well done video :)
Very clear and helpful. Thank you : ).
Thank you for the tips Alex. It's nice to be watching you again.
Great, thanks. Very informative

This is very helpful and clear. Thank you.
Great tips!! Good content.
Thank you thank you. I suck at endgames and I'm drawing too much from winning positions. I'll put these lessons to use right away
great, more of this pliz
This was one of your better videos. Very Helpful
I think these are very good tips . Great work!
Great tips. Thanks
Excellent video. One topic that I would enjoy seeing would d be on calculation technique and blunder prevention.
This was helpful. Thanks 👍
More useful explanation of the square rule than I’ve seen elsewhere. The diagonal is fast enough to use with time ticking down.
Love your hoodies!
This is really good. Thanks a lot.
Great video thank you
Felicitări pentru 1 M abonați !!! Ar trebui să faceți un video special pentru asta

Anna Cramling has done dozen's of these. She is also 2100+.
Thank you so much for this video. I really like to learn about the openings and their variations in your video. I am a trash in openings and almost mess up in every game.
thanks for this
That square rule will help out a ton for me now, thanks!
This video helped me a ton, literally in the first couple tips it explained how my opponent earlier was able to win at the end. So now I know 😁
Great explanation!
Great tutorial. Gives you a lot to think about.
nice lesson! love it
These were awesome, can we have midde game tips?
Great lessons ♟♟
I am back to see the video agan because it helps me a lot❤️
More stuff like this!!!
It took me a long time for me to learn about king opposition and how to win king and pawn endgames with it. I wish I had seen a video like this a long time ago. It would have saved me a lot of frustration.
I would love to see you go into depth on some of your more interesting endgames. As a long time wood pusher, I do ok in the opening, at my best in the middlegame, but my mind just blanks in the endgame. I just have the hardest time seeing why one move is good an another not. I expect I'm not alone in that regard. I really just love your presentation; your really a good coach Alex, would love to see more.
Thank you!
I didn't watch educational videos about chess for months but this helped me a lot
The square rule is crazy, thank you for sharing
Hello it would be great to have a video on when to castle and on which side. Thank you.
Can you do one on openings and middle game
That format is great - and a very digestible length as well. Nothing against Danja, but like 10 1 hour videos just on pawn endgames imho target a very advanced and thus narrow viewership. This is more to the point even for ppl who already learned at some point and just want a little refresh on the topic 🤗 Can you do rook endgames next? Like just philidor / lucena position and how to hold / convert them?
i often mess up the end game, so even beginner tips like these are good to keep top of mind :) thanks!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Definitely more educational videos.
If you see this can you make a playlist with all your tutorials? Thank you!
Dr. Wolf taught me Opposition! So informative! Thanks!
Thank is a very good video .
Joke's on you, my games never go to the endgame.
Thank you Alexandra! It was amazing! Please make more of those(if you are available to do so of course)

This was actually great. I hate learning about endgames tho lmao.
this was useful
can you analyze your best/worst games on this channel?
1. Trade pieces just when you are up material 2. Create passed pawns- pawn majority 3. Square rule 4. King activity 5. Opposition
Brazil Loves your videos
Can you do a video on how the knight moves?
Thanks
