No one's commenting on this video, so maybe it's appropriate that I add my comment. I've been under a rock for the last few years. I confirmed this yesterday(2/9/12) when I "discovered" Cherryholmes. I love many styles of music. However, as a southern Indiana plow-jockey, the music closest to my heart is bluegrass. Especially a soulful bluegrass ballad. Folks, this music moved me to tears. No small feat for a 59 year old man's man. Thank you Cherryholmes. I wish I had "found you" sooner.

Cherryholmes, in concert, is mesmerizing. I saw them at Graves Mountain in Syria, VA a few years back. The concert had a through-line and a drive and a cadence that went all the way through to my spine. They are completely and utterly amazing. They even clog! It's a damn shame they aren't together anymore.

I love this song, I think its the best blue grass ive ever heard. I wish youtube had a studio version of this song, or a non live version. Never the less thank you for sharing this.

Anthony, I've been meaning to tell you thanks for recording Cherryholmes last show. I saw you there in the center aisle that night and was relieved to know someone was going to get a good quality recording of the show. I recorded it on my camera as it was all I had. It is of poor quality and a side angle. This is awesome. Not in my life has a band moved me to the extent the Cherryholmes family has. I sure miss them and thanks for sharing the show. Kudos on a job well done.
