I’ve been painting a cherry blossom branches mural in my nursery for my baby girl and your tips and watching you paint is exactly what I needed to help me with getting the petals to have a better, artsy look! It really came to life because of you and everyone I’ve shown it to has been so impressed.

I don't know if you know who Bob Ross is( I used to watch him all the time, yes I am that old lol ) but I find your voice as soothing as his, I have yet to paint anything but I love watching vids like this

I love the painting Jane! That being said, I love to paint realism so please don’t discount it. I’m not the best at it, but my goal is always to enjoy what I do and hopefully share some of what I feel when walking through a forest or watching a sunset. I also love Impressionism, when you or someone else paints it, just don’t enjoy painting it myself. Thanks for all you share with us😊

I totally get that, Diane!! Please don't misunderstand. I don't mean to say there's no value in realism! I'm just saying that it's not what everyone is trying to accomplish. I guess I should have said that realism isn't the ONLY goal in art. You go for it and rock that realism!!! ♥

There is no such thing as perfection, only the striving to achieve it. Even nature is perfect often. You are right. Paint what you feel. I love quin. Colours bright a clean.

I agree, paint what you feel, then it’s relaxing and doesn’t string you trying to get realism. Painting should be a calming experience. Let realism come naturally not forced along with your natural progression of technique. Slow down enjoy painting look forward to every new project.

After doing this several times over the years, I am finally feeling great about how the painting is coming together on its newest iteration! That is very much so in thanks to your great video. Love it, sooo, colourful

Remember plants and trees grow always seeking the best angles to reach the sun. The plant isn’t striving for a perfect shape, just the best position to reach more light then its neighbour. Decide where the light is coming from in your painting might help.

This is beautiful. I painted your roses tutorial and everyone told me I did it wrong to them it didn't look like roses. But I could see them . Thank you for saying in your rant that its a painting not reality

Clive 5 make a white undercoat great for wet-on-wet. Golden do a flow white with same effect. They are smashing for wet-on-wet like this beautiful painting. I use Payne’s Grey rather than black all the time. Black just smothers anything you mix.
